We loved Buffalo Peaks Lodge, a stunning house just outside of Buena Vista, surrounded by nature and the Golf Course. Perfect place to relax after a long day on the road. Paz was absolutely lovely, she served us a delicious breakfast and shared us many stories and interesting advises on the area. We would love to be back one day! Thanks Paz!

Being from Colorado, we are familiar with the area and always enjoy our travels to this part of the state. Mt. Princeton is beautiful, though all pools not conveniently accessible for those who struggle physically - but still breathtaking.

An historic, picturesque town that we wish we would have had time to explore more. After 47 years working freight trains out of Chicago for the Chicago & North Western Railway (21 years) and Union Pacific Railroad (26 years), I really wanted to check out the model railroad club located in the museum downtown (which I assume models the former narrow-gauge railroad that once served the area; the Denver, South Park & Pacific/the Denver, Leadville & Gunnison), but we didn't have that kind of time to spend doing so. We had one dinner at House Rock Kitchen and one lunch at Simple Eatery & Spoon It Up, both of which are exceptional restaurants, prior to the family wedding activities we were there for.

Not having spent time in Buena Vista in over ten years, I became reacquainted with this little town. Was very impressed with the updates to the town. It seemed very busy on a Saturday night. Many more night spots than what was there before and all of them were busy. I was very impressed.

We were upgraded to a brand new Queen Suite at the Creekside site. We loved the fireplace and being able to hear the rushing water of the creek from our balcony. Everything was PERFECT! We will be back!

Buena Vista is a lovely area.
Buena Vista is a lovely area. Very scenic with lots of activities such as hiking and site seeing. The mountain views are wonderful. We visited several restaurants in town and the food was excellent everywhere we went. The town and surrounding areas are easy to get around with no traffic or parking issues.

This little town is awesome!
This little town is awesome! Food is wonderful the coffee is wonderful the scenery is out of this world tons of stuff to do if you want to be outside great little downtown with great shopping I could move there
Absolutely amazing hotel, with incredibly scenery and hot spring facilities. The check in staff were friendly and explained well how everything worked. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was freezing cold (snowing!) when we stayed but the rooms were lovely and warm. You open the curtains to deer grazing and spectacular mountain views. You can bathe directly in the hot spring streams. The food at the restaurant was very fresh and tasty. An unforgettable experience worth every penny!
This was our third stay and we always have a great time. We usually rent a cabin but had fewer people so rented a deluxe room that was cliffside with amazing views. Staff is always nice and facilities are clean. Make reservations at the resort restaurant if you want to eat there. Buena Vista is a 10 min drive with plenty of dining options too.
It was one of the nicer choices to stay for Buena Vista, CO. The pool was nice & the gift/coffee shop was a special treat. The breakfast was pretty normal. We usually stay at Hampton Inn’s and the breakfast was not quite to that quality, but still had decent hot choices.
The amenities in the room, top-notch, really appreciated the tea and the espresso machine. Bathrooms were lovely. Everyone on the staff was very nice, and we enjoyed having breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. The hotel is beautifully situated next to the river.
We enjoyed breakfast every morning at the property. It was always fresh, warm, and arrived at the desired time we had requested. Excellent perk to this beautiful property in Buena Vista! The hot tub was great to have too after a long day exploring the town.
The hotel was just a based hotel. The morning front desk person was nice. Although the evening young front desk person needs some customer service training. He wasn't bad just not much of a people person or just didn't want to be at work.
It is just a house. ('Adventurer's Hideaway' sounds more promising.) However, it is very clean, nicely furnished, and many nice touches by the host. Very good size. perfect for staying in Buena Vista. Ample parking.
Chris suggested the 2 bridges trail in Burns Vista, gave excellent directions, 4 mile easy trail along beautiful streamDined at Quincy’s excellent food dinner and drinks under $20 a piece. Played air hockey and pool
This is a very luxurious hotel with beautiful architecture and stylish design. The TV was awesome and packed full of entertainment options, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom really nice.
Great location, walking distance to Main St and all the fun eating and drinking establishments!! Quiet and clean, just what we needed for a night in Buena Vista. We’ll definitely go back!!
Just a charming room with beautiful decor and amenities. Great location in downtown BV to walk to restaurants and trails down the road. Very quiet hotel with nice views. Would stay again.
Top notch accommodations located in a small mountain town like Buena Vista...I was very impressed and pleased. Great staff, great room, great breakfast. All around GREAT!
A classic mountain town motel that's been kept updated as times goes by. Great location in downtown Buena Vista. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
It felt very private. It is close to downtown Buena Vista. It’s within walking distance to many places. We saw deer nightly. We really enjoyed ourselves!
