Comfortable hotel. Clean and with all the basics that you need. Rooms are super spacious. It is well located for when I travel for business and near Cambridge Street with a lot of restaurants and services. It’s well located to access the city center from there too.
I will definitively stay here again!

Friendly and flexible staff except in the Japanese Steakhouse where they were cold. The hotel staff promptly moved me from a room in the pot-smelling 14th floor to a smoke-free top floor when I complained about the smell. Good location.

Stayed in Cambridge to attend a graduation at Boston University. We were just close enough for it to be a very short drive, but did not have to immediately deal with school traffic. There were many stores and restaurants nearby, with good access to major roads to simplify travel.

Cambridge is beautiful, a fascinating place, but we were running around for several work events and didn't see much. VERY congested, so we relied on Lyfts to get around. But, so much to see, packed with beautiful historic architecture. Lots of trendy food places (often a little strange).

Cambridge is an easy, safe and picturesque place to walk around. The streets are clean, the parks are beautifully maintained and there is stunning historic architecture, as well as quaint shops and eateries everywhere. We particularly enjoyed seeing the beautiful Memorial Hall. It's a pity visitors can't look inside, into the Annenberg Hall dining area, but we appreciate that the Harvard students may not like an audience whilst eating : ). The Harvard University of Natural History is fantastic and the Glass Flowers exhibit is a must-see! Being a rower, I enjoyed seeing the beautiful Weld Boathouse and Newell Boathouse and watching crews row up and down the Charles River. If you love books, The COOP bookstore is well worth a visit and if you enjoy ice-cream, I would highly recommend getting a Taiyaki (Japanese ice-cream) from Taiyaki NYC in Church Street. The ramen at Boston Ramen at 24 Holyoke Street was delicious and I would highly recommend grabbing a waffle and coffee from the food truck parked in the Harvard Science Center Plaza. If you're going into Boston, I would highly recommend the Boston Tea Party Ships and museum experience (an excellent interactive, re enactment experience), having a ride on the beautiful Greenway Carousel and walking through the Boston Common, seeing the 'Make way for ducks' statue and, for the 'Cheers' tv series fans, visiting the Cheers bar.

Comfy room, clean and modern with friendly staff.
Comfy room, clean and modern with friendly staff. Booked in advance, was quoted $186 tax included. But, at check-in I was notified that it cost $25 per day, per parking spot and a $75 fee that would be returned (5 to 7 days) after checkout. Plus they wanted $20 per person for breakfast. Total: $326 for 2 people for one night. Nice place, but won't spend that to stay there again.

It's in a good location for Cambridge, and even not far from Boston amenities. It is NOT right near Harvard campus, though, if that's what you're looking for ... but not far.
The facility is fine - an inn, not a hotel, but with room amenities of a hotel.

One can get to a residence or a hotel easily from Logan airport.
If you walk to Harvard, you can enjoy watching red leaves on the way.
As Harvard square is a walking distance, shopping, sightseeing and joining conference are very convenient. You can enjoy Continental and sophisticated atmosphere because the University of Harvard is very near.
Noah was very helpful, friendly, and informative. The rooms were great, very clean and well laid out.
Bathroom was very functional and nice. Sink and counter were large enough to keep my things laid out, and not have to battle my wife for space.
Bed was comfy, and a/c worked great. Plenty of places to plug in and charge.
Restaurant / bar was near the front of the hotel, very convenient. Had a nice little area outside with plants and a fire pit.
The hotel was very reasonably priced, and is excellent value for money. The receptionist was very helpful at check-in, and when I asked for a room away from the main road, he offered me an upgrade for an excellent price. The room was spotless, well-appointed and extremely comfortable. The same receptionist was on the next day, and he was super-helpful with local and transport information (as was his colleague). I highly recommend Porter Square Hotel.
This is my go-to hotel in Cambridge. The bed is super comfortable. The rooms have hardwood (not carpet!) and are always clean. There is 24-hour service at the door (and no long lines that you get at large chain hotels). Coffee, tea, decaf, water... all the amenities you'd expect from a well-priced, well-appointed hotel. The location is ideal, right next to Porter Square.
Breakfast was good, with waffles, scrambled eggs and some fresh fruit (but nothing fancy). The location is convenient to both Cambridge (MIT, Harvard square) and Boston. A few blue bikes stations nearby and plenty of cafes around. The room was clean and everything seems to be new/refreshed. Garage is very conveniently located real close (but not in the same building).
The breakfast choice was amazing. Marc who runs the inn is most personable and friendly. If you have reason to be near MIT this place is great. If not, there is still Marc. He calls himself the innkeeper but I secretly call him Mr Thénardier – but he does not charge "3% percent for sleeping with the window shut"!. Would definitely stay there again!
The front desk staff was very hospitable and welcoming. They did their best to accommodate us while moving my daughter into her dorm at Harvard. If you are looking to be close to campus there is nowhere better in Cambridge. We did not use a car but the parking area felt very safe and our room was nice and spacious.
Good breakfast for a 3star hotel. Very good location - at heart of MIT if this is what one is looking for. Parking very convenient - just behind the hotel with in/out privileges for not cheap but also not a huge amount. Good size room. Starbucks in the same building as the hotel with hotel access door.
Good location in Cambridge, close to subway station to quickly get to the center of Boston. Very nice surroundings, river on one side and small pond on the other. View from my room on Boston panorama was exceptional. Hotel is joint to a shopping mall which is also a plus. Room was nice and comfortable!
Hotel is well appointed and in a great position. Right across from the T station for Boston centre and 5 minute bus ride to Harvard Square. Lots of good cafes and eateries within walking distance. Very easy to get to Logan airport via red line and SL1 bus. I will stay here again when next in Boston.
THE LOCATION!! I took my parents to visit their granddaughter who is currently a freshman at Harvard. It was so wonderful to walk out the door and easily meet her anywhere in Harvard Square. This is our 3rd stay at Hotel Veritas! And the staff - so warm and accommodating. Thank you!
The hotel staff is superb. We were in Cambridge for my husband’s surgery and were so well taken care of at the restaurant, by the front desk (Devon and all the staff), the wine and coffee (thanks Ben!). Very grateful!
This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel. Rooms are tiny, but if it's just 1 or 2 people, it's fine. Totally clean, comfortable, etc. Restaurants/shopping/grocery store/T stop are all really nearby.
The location is the best if you are about to work on Harvard for a few days. It is also a great and safe neighbourhood. The supermarket (Farm) in front of the hotel is quite good.
Location was great and with a T-line just outside the hotel. Easy access around Boston.
Staff were very welcoming and helpful when we arrived.
Room was a good size.
Good location near Harvard in easy walking distance. Nice and accommodating staff.
Pleasant common area with coffee and freshly baked biscuits available.
