The Lake Village Lodge is small, clean and cute. It’s an old-style motel that has been updated with cabin decor. Right off the highway and one of CdA’s most popular breakfast restaurants is across the highway about a 1/4 mile up. Parking is tight, it’s a small establishment, surprisingly no road noise from the highway or freeway. Appears to be at the edge of the older part of CdA.

I had stayed at a bit of a dodgy motel on Saturday night in Surrey British Columbia and I needed to elevate my hotel game! I nailed it with The Roosevelt Inn! Tina and John Hough have a gem of a hotel and location! Everybody deserves to experience this breath-taking establishment. The furnishings within all of the suites are stunning. The bed that I slept on in the Burns Suite had the most comfortable mattress ever! I cannot wait to return to the Roosevelt with my wife.

The staff was always very helpful and made sure we always had fresh sheets, towels and a clean room. We enjoyed our breakfasts and the 24 hour coffee and hot water station. The hotel is in a great location on Sherman Ave. Close to shops, restaurants, the lake and beautiful scenery!
