The room was clean and very roomy. It did not have a stale smell to it. I will stay there again

Everything was wonderful. It was our anniversary and we were going to San Antonio, but decided to stay closer to home. Was entertained with a Luau and then just walked to our overly large room. My husband was very happy with the accomodations. It was a wonderful stay.
Located off Interstate 35, this Georgetown hotel is 40 minutes’ drive north of Central Austin and 2 miles from San Gabriel Park. It features an indoor pool and spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi.
My husband and I stayed here for my birthday. The resort itself has potential, but waisted potential. Food and room was average but way over-priced. Apparently there is a pool but not within walking distance. We were there over the weekend, there was absolutely no entertainment and the "full bar" had inexperienced bar tenders and ran out of certain liquors. It was a hit or miss in the customer service department. The place is extremely over priced coupled with poor customer service. ( particularly bar/resturant manager) Our second night we actually left early morning and spent all day in Austin. We considered just going home but had already spent the $300 for the room. Very disappointed. I do NOT recommend 😐

Staff was not helpful. Mostly a self-serve place.
Staff was not helpful. Mostly a self-serve place. I did not receive the rate that I booked on booking.com. No management was available. When we arrived we were not greeted. we set our in the lovely courtyard waiting for our room and there were breakfast dishes still on tables. The next day we came out to eat and the same dishes were still on the table. A vacuum cleaner set in front of our doorway for the three days we were there. That evening we bought a nice meal and two glasses of wine. Our glasses were empty most of our meal. We were not asked if we would like another glass. or offered water. We self-served ourselves, we got our own silverware napkins. and glass of water. I still left a 10 tip and the staff member said that all just 10 .dollars.

Everything was amazing, to include the pool, lasagna, wine of course, location of our villa, etc! The only downfall is that they don’t sell anything stronger than wine. A trip to the store fixes that though. They also have military discount!
