Comfortable apartment. All good. We felt like we were at home

We went to Gloucester to go to an exhibit at the Cape Anne Museum. The only problem with Gloucester in general is that all parking is metered and limited to 2 hours within any given zone. This means it is impossible to really enjoy the downtown. We had wanted to go to the museum and then wander around the town and shops. Two hours is not enough time for that. And we were in the off season when, at least, you could find parking. It must be awful in the summer. Too bad.

Gloucester is located in one of the most historic and picturesque areas north of Boston. Rockport and the Cape Ann area are just a few easy miles from Gloucester.
I highly recommend a 2-3 night stay in Gloucester.

Never found downtown Gloucester but did eat at some fabulous places in the town and stopped in cute nearby Rockport. Lots of beautiful and clean beaches to choose from. Better than Cape Cod! We ate at a little diner down the road and at the fantastic Seaport Grill. Worth every penny. Just order less than you want. Portions are gigantic.

Gloucester is a quaint little beautiful town.
Gloucester is a quaint little beautiful town. However, everything closes very early with short hours of operation. Be prepared to eat early or may not find places open. Bookings for tours were sold out for the only day we were available. Will book ahead next time.
This is a very comfortable, spacious, well decorated place. We greatly appreciated the thoughtful touches of snacks, toiletries, and cozy nooks. There are three good sized bedrooms with a very large master bedroom that includes a little sitting area. We loved the open kitchen with a big table for sitting around. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. Communication was spot on. This is a good location with a big parking space. It helps to have a car but it is walkable to locations around Gloucester. Thank you for a perfect stay!
A Friendly welcome, a quiet & peaceful place. Very clean, very spacious rooms, lots of free parking, lots of brocures and take out menu's, ice machine. safe at night , lots of lighting to sit outside at night , comfortable beds. Large beds. good pillows . great tv and stations , all redone inside the rooms ,very pretty . 1/2 the price of the on or near the ocean hotels and just 5 minutes to the beach. We would go back ! Thankyou for a pleasant stay, short but sweet . 😊p.s. Nice pool area
Our stay at this Gloucester gem was nothing short of magical! From the cozy interiors to the breathtaking ocean views, every detail was perfection. The hosts' hospitality made us feel right at home, and the proximity to local attractions added an extra layer of convenience. If you're looking for a picturesque retreat, this vacation home is an absolute dream. Can't wait to come back and create more unforgettable memories!
Exceptionally clean room! Accommodations were standard but room was larger than normal and comfortable. There was also seating on the porch outside every room. Heated pool cleaned every day. Great location...short drive to Gloucester city center. Offered limited continental breakfast. Grocery store and drugstore within walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
The hotel has the most beautiful sunrise which can be seen from every room. We loved the location! it was about 5-8 minutes drive to any part of Gloucester (including good harbor beach). We also liked the perk of discount vouchers for beach and attraction parking which was helpful.
The location was in an industrial area, but it was on the water. The hotel is beautiful and they thought of everything cute pillows in the room, very comfy bed, beautiful bathroom, and spacious room with fridge and coffee and water in room. Great for a couples retreat.
Room was newly renovated and very clean and comfortable. Owner was very helpful at checkin with advice. Location was perfect. 5 min drive from the Gloucester promenade and 5 min from Rockport's downtown area. Would definitely stay here again. highly recommended!
Felt very comfortable as soon as we arrived after a long journey. Lovely staff, very clean and good facilities. On the edge of town for Gloucester and close to the lovely town of Rockport. Had two great meals at Charlies (which you can walk to) and Lobstaland.
Had a great stay in Gloucester at John's Inn.
Everything was well taken care of. Friendly hosts happy to help and talk about the area. Wonderful experience staying in a historic New England house right on the harbor.
The beach was unbelievably beautiful, the hotel was so close to anything we needed, meals, groceries etc. ; and the staff were incredibly kind and knowledgable. And Bert the parrot was a gem!
We appreciated that the property was close to Gloucester and Rockport. We appreciated the cleanliness and amenagment of the
apartment. The price is reasonable and incite to come back.
Everything was great. Location, view of bay, the host was so very nice. Would love to have spent more time there. Will definitely plan another trip to Gloucester, and stay there again.
Beauport Hotel is my new happy place! 💚 It’s a 100% independent hotel. I thought it had been here in Gloucester since 1606, but apparently it’s only 7 years old. Who knew?!
Just everything. The hotel is absolutely excellent, so is everyone of the management and staff. Exceptional maintenance and cleaness. The location and view are both unique.
