Lovely little locally owned spot. Staff terrific. The neighborhood is a bit dicey, but safe, Excellent diner nearby. Spending some money on the parking lot would go a long way to dress it up a bit.

The breakfast was good, the location a bit out of the way. It was right on our rout though and fit us perfectly.

We were in Gunnison to attend a funeral, so there wan't much turing around. We did find the motel a good central location. The room was clean and roomy with two bedrooms. We were told where the local restaurants were located and we chose a Chinese restaurant.
Because of the covid it was only offering take out service, but they did allow us to ear inside. Noting special to be said about the food or the restaurant.
The motel personnel were courteous and efficient. The only problem we encountered was the bathroom sink drain was slow and I assume it needed plunging or cleaning.

The town is quite small and COVID-related store closures made the choices of eating out more limited, but there is a very good chinese restaurant right on Main Street, a hamburger joint out by the Elementary School whose prices are unbelievably reasonable, and some of the best pizza I have ever had right across the street.
It snowed five or six inches on our last night, and that made the roads a little tricky, but we had a great time in Gunnison.
