I used to live in the Herndon area about twenty years ago, so my opinion may be slightly biased. Overall, there are good dining options including, every fast food option, and other chain restaurants. But, I highly recommended Jimmy's Old Towne Tavern for Buffalo style wings.

We didn’t stay in the region, but we did visit the large air and space museum, which was very interesting for all age groups, and drove to some nearby historic towns. Next time, would visit some of the nearby wineries and hike, it’s so beautiful here. Previously, we visited the great falls nearby, also cool for all ages.PamelaUnited States

Easy to arrive at the airport and grab the shuttle to get to the hotel. The hotel, the staff is, staff and answered any questions we had. They have a small little market downstairs or you can pick up extras for your room. A great breakfast in the morning complete the cheese and eggs cereals pastries Terrific coffee. The room was exceptionally clean and airy. The location was very convenient from Dulles airport (I arrived on a late flight from the UK and needed an intermediate stop off knowing once I had collected the hire car it would be too late to get properly on my way). This one was a great choice, considering the distance to the airport, the convenience, the room size and the staff. We asked for an extended check-out and the hotel provided. The room was spacious, with everything that we needed for an emergency two-night stopover. The location is accessible by lyft/taxi. There is a free shuttle, with limited time (runs only from 09:00 to 22:00)
