I love that it connects to Old Post Road and Route 1.Easy in and out. The rooms have a cabin feel to them too. Liked TV probably better than average. Windows both ends of room which is rare. I felt overall it was well worth it.

Unfortunately I had to turn around in the middle of my way to the hotel because I forgot to take my passport in order to cross Canada border the next morning. 3 hours driving back home to get it. So I had no chance to come back to the hotel. But I was delightfully surprised to get my money back. Soooo nice of the hotel staff. Thanks a lot!

I chose this location for its proximity to Portsmouth and its affordability. It was a central location for our visits to friends in Dover, Portsmouth, and Kittery as well as attending theater and dining in Portsmouth.

Kittery was like small town heaven..
Kittery was like small town heaven.. People are friendly, easy to talk with. Down home so to speak. Even the traffic is friendly. 😊 . We came in the winter time. It's nice not being so crowded. Hoping to find some fresh lobster. Oceanside parks are a great place to watch the tides come and go. Had to try the lobster roll. Spendy for what I got but was good. Lots of scenic roads loaded with curves for those that enjoy that. Nothing I can think of to avoid, except the 16 dollar burrito. 😊

It was a winter stay so we weren’t there for the parks and beaches, just the outlets and restaurants. The stores at Kittery outlets are always impressive! Larger stores and better sales than any other I’ve gone to. We ate at Weathervane in the bar. The food and service was fantastic! Pa’s onion rings and 1 half and half plate was enough for my husband and I share.

Kittery was beautiful but hotel stay was horrible.
Kittery was beautiful but hotel stay was horrible.
Ate at Robert's main twice in 3 days it was awesome. Outlets were great. We were on a motorcycle and rode to Kennebunk Port and ate at Hobbs Harbor house and that was good also. The ride on the bike with the foliage was just beautiful.
We had been on two plane flights in a row and arrived in Boston at 5 a.m. We were exhausted after then picking up the rental car. We got up to our room and laid down right away for a few hours nap. The bed was so comfortable! The room was large and the shower felt great. We went to a local seafood restaurant for dinner which was fabulous and the hotel breakfast was wonderful. Apparently Kittery is know for its MANY outlet stores. It was a great introduction to our "Back East" fall colors trip. What a great stay we had
I needed a room for 5 and got 2 queen beds and a pull out couch perfect for the amount of people. The front desk staff is awesome. Every time I saw them they were extremely pleasant and helpful. They did the best they could for breakfast under the Covid situation well and my kids were happy with it. Everything was always kept clean and the cleaning staff was pleasant as well. I recommend this place its not a 5 star hotel but it does have its upsides like customer service!
The breakfast was fantastic. The room was "tired"/needs clean up. The rug was dirty and needs to be changed. The over-sink shelf is sagging and might fall and the sink should be recaulked. However, the room itself was cleaned well and had all the basic amenities (frig, microwave, water boiler) so the room was quite serviceable for our needs. Good location for biking to all bikeable locations in Portsmouth, Kittery, coast.
The only good thing was the location. Completely underwhelming for the price. Beds & pillows were absolutely horrible and made it difficult to sleep. There was an odor from the time you walked in, rooms too. Not clean, but just stale and old smelling. Room was stuffy even with ac. I would not stay here again. It’s worth about a $100/night 2 star hotel.
Comfortable room with both inside and outside doors, so it's convenient to get to your car as well as to the lobby and breakfast area (for first floor rooms anyway). Breakfast is more than adequate. Location is convenient to Kittery strip but on the edge of it.
Super easy access to Portsmouth (right across the bridge, 5 minutes driving) without having to be in downtown. Plus, a few minutes away from some great eateries in Kittery. Check-in was fast, the room was great, and it was very comfortable/relaxing.
Place is misleading on the picture. In side is old, smells of mold and old. Gray not painted rooms. I was very disappointed it was not worth the money we pay.there is other hotels for that money or cheaper and brand new renovated
very convenient location but not so cool facing a noisy and busy road…however, the hotel is close to everything which is just the most important thing when you stay there…!
The hotel is well located just across the river from Portsmouth. (It cannot be described as a waterfront property though).
It is a smart looking old house.
