We liked that it had a large pool for adults and older children, as well as a fun smaller pool that wasnt deep for children and infants. Wish they would have been warmer, they were pretty chilly. Thankful for the jacuzzi.

If you need any kind of handicap accessible room and you need more the 1 bed, I'd go somewhere else. They don't have but 1 handicap accessible shower and only 1 bed, in the room. They lied to me about it then wouldn't do anything to remedy the circumstances or even help. But they sure took the money and told me to bad.

The beaches were nice.
The beaches were nice. They need to be more careful of how they word their signs and their tourist books. You think that you are going to a beach or the dunes and they just marked a town on signs as though it is a point of interest. It was very confusing.

Everything was clean & nicely taken care of...people were friendly. They seemed pleased this event was happening in their town. We were only there for 15 hours so we only saw the hotel, the dock & a Subway shop while there. The police & dock police were organized & tried very hard to keep 10000 cars flowing & parking was plentiful. Thank you for letting the Navy use your port to commission the USS Indianapolis.

Although the front desk person was very thoughtful, the hotel was very dirty. Shower was too nasty to use. Pool was dirty and falling apart. AC was deafening. The only saving grace was clean bedding. Go somewhere else. I thought I could trust Days Inn for cleanliness, but I will not use Days Inn, again.
I don’t know what your expectations might be about a motel room for $65 a night, but mine were met — and exceeded. Travel Inn provided me with a clean, comfortable room; a bed with a solid mattress: a working TV, remote and air conditioner (and believe me, that’s not always the case in some of the finest hotels), and perhaps best of all, the hottest, easiest-to-operate shower I’ve ever had in a motel! It was bliss. I would book a room there again without hesitation.
Breakfast had a wide variety. The staff was super friendly and accommodating . Was super close to the indiana dunes at portage and lots of restaurants/ shopping nearby . Pool looked really nice but unfortunately didn’t have the chance to swim
. The location was great. close to hiking and things to do. easy access to expressway and National and State Park. Rooms clean. restaurants close by. Staff friendly and able to give directions to places. Stores in the area. quiet.
Great hotel - not far from the freeway and 10 minutes from the national park. We booked a family suite and it worked great for us with the two rooms allowed space for all of us. The facilities and breakfast were really great.
This is the most basic of hotels. Fine for a place to sleep and shower, not much else. Denny's restaurant next door, a few fast food places nearby. Very close to the highway which makes it convenient for travelers.
Very nice facility. Quiet , clean . Nice fitness center with full set of weights . pool area is large and has a kid wading pool. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. will stay again.
We’ve been here before, and we love this hotel, only thing bad is we wish we could stay longer. the Roos are so spacious, and the who property is very well kept
