Breakfast was fabulous :) The stay was very helpful & friendly. They allow you to wander through the building and you are able to explore the grounds. It's a beautiful building with grounds to match.
It was a nice "quiet" get away..... while close to the city limits for anything you might need.

Nothing in particular. Staff at the front were nice.

The Temple Theatre is a must, a great old venue with a lot of character. The Castle Museum/Historical Society of Saginaw County is another beautiful site to see with a lot of history. Tony's Italian Restaurant on Gratiot or State St have exceptional Italian food. Most of the streets are north/south or east/west oriented so not difficult to move about Saginaw. I wish more of the old downtown area was being brought back to life.

We stayed in Saginaw because all reasonably priced accommodations in nearby Frankenmuth were already booked. We were heading there for their Bavarian Fest. Saginaw was a drivable distance option, and we didn’t spend much time there. We did, however take in the Saginaw Castle, which is an historic post office converted into a beautifully executed local history museum. Quite impressive.

This place was a catfish hotel.
This place was a catfish hotel. When arriving I saw local vagrants all around. The neighborhood is sketchy, and the whole hotel was dirty. Room was filthy, bedding was scratchy and smelled horrible. If you like clean spaces, do not go here.

Overcharged me $50 right from the beginning and then staff argued with me saying they couldn’t do anything about it. Wanted to swim but pool was down. Thought they had a hot tub but they did not. Ice machines were also all broke

Hotel was not prepared to feed an influx of guests so on the morning of July 13, food was out at 7:30. We never got to talk to a manager and no compensation was offered. We had to go out and buy breakfast for my 92 yea old mother-in-law. On the 14th there was sufficient and good food for breakfast.
The location is great and plenty of good shopping and restaurants nearby.
Included breakfast was above board. Many options and kept hot. Maximus kept Everything clean and replenished. He went out of his way to make sure all the guests had what they needed. He is top notch!
Room was spacious and very clean. Many extras that aren't standard in most hotels - full refrigerator, microwave, dishes, utensils. Having the separate sleeping and living area would be a huge plus for families with different sleep times.
We were looking for a "cheap" motel for the night and we certainly got the cheap part. The exterior door to the room had nearly an inch gap around the bottom and would have been a serious issue had it been wintertime in Michigan. Because of the direct entry into the room the noise level was a bit more than one would expect with the lifted truck team reving their engines until well after 1 am. However, it was cheap!
Beautifully renovated hotel. Huge parking lot. Attached to Uno restaurant. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. I had a suite which was HUGE. Perfect for a family with kids (the couch pulls out) or friends looking to split a room as there is a 2nd bathroom in the LR area. Older coffee maker, fridge and microwave included. When I come back to Saginaw I will book here again
I liked nothing honestly. The first room that was given to us had not been cleaned and it is only COVID. Then the lady tried to make excuses to why the room wasn’t clean. So she did move our room however the next room the air didn’t work the room was disgusting too I had to go to meijers just to clean the room myself! Do not recommend this hotel for anyone to stay in.
They made 3 groups of families wait in the lobby before they would check us in, it was 2:30 pm. It was unnecessary because there were four cars in the parking lot. The hotel wasn’t busy at all. Also, they need to put better lights in the hallways, it’s very dim and almost dark. I don’t think that’s safe. Not to mention, the elevator was janky…
The hotel was recently remodeled, very modern.Very comfortable, pleasant staff, good supply of breakfast items. The pool looked inviting, but I could not partake. The beds were very comfortable, the room and common areas were also very clean. Well taken care of hotel.
Great value - visiting Saginaw for show at The Dow Center. Unexpectedly nice place - rooms/bed comfortable, great water pressure and hot water for shower, nice light complimentary breakfast, easy access to highway and downtown. Really surprised at the value for the cost!
The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The gentleman who checked us in was very personable. The breakfast was great. The hotel was very well decorated as well as the room and the staff were helpful.
Breakfast was just ok. Beautiful Main building but unfortunately our reservation was messed up and got a room in ”guesthouse” which was not very nice! Personel did their best.
We got great help from Ty Robinson at the front desk, when something did not go right with our reservation via booking.com.
The room was nice and clean, good bed.
Room was clean but we did not have a remote for the TV. had to finally get one from the cleaning lady who was awesome. the front desk help not so awesome.
