Unless they fix the lock boxes and have better access and make sure the hot tub is clean and ready and the squeaky bed is fixed I would say NO to this place. And you don't have to send nasty text to vacasa just to get the key code to put the door key back would have helped also!!! Not worth 500.00 for a weekend of misery!

    The location is beautiful.

The location is beautiful. Private & natural. The cabin itself is wonderful. Huge picture windows, high ceilings, & nice woodwork. However all the amenities are not functioning .The appliances & furnishings are outdated & barely functioning.Cleanliness could be improved upon. The furniture is uncomfortable.

I did not like the contact free check-in and out. All info on check in and check out was thru e-mail and text, BUT we could not get a signal even in their parking lot! Plus we were driving all day and could not access our electronics. Also, no elevator and lots of steps.

The heating in this cabin is insufficient (and I suspect the cooling is also) due to one small AC unit tucked up near the second floor ceiling. Then the fireplace wouldn't draw properly so the cabin filled up with smoke on both nights, leaving all our possessions smelling of smoke. Pretty miserable.

The cabin was situated in a good area away from Helen, but close enough to it. The shower had a dysfunctional diverter and the living room remained pretty cool at night even with the heat up. The hot tub was nice and the bed was almost as nice as ours at home.
