When we arrived the front desk lady was dealing with a difficult customer who just wanted to bicker. The front desk attendant was kind in breaking away to help check-in me and my family. She showed good judgement in a tense situation.

Travelled to our Capitol city for a Murder trial and the city is Lovely. The people are kind, the courthouse staff professional and courteous. Rolling hills & lovely trees that aren't just Palm trees. This "college town" (also our Government Seat), is THE most littered city I've seen, filthy actually. Very few nice restaurants, and a plethora of vape/smoke shops, liquor stores, and...litter. I mostly stayed by Railroad Square which is really cool, and drove some distance to visit a beach, because I'm a Floridian I HAVE to see all the beaches. Town is easy to navigate through and around, we drove up from South Florida and stayed over 2+ weeks

They had nice employees. The room felt dirty.
They had nice employees. The room felt dirty. They said they had breakfast, but it was just toast and jelly and cereal. I was not I’m pressed at all. At least I know where not to stay if I ver need to stay in Tallahassee again.
I absolutely enjoyed my stay!! The whole facility is super clean and the staff went above and beyond to make everyone feel at home! Both Jackie and Metria from the front desk was awesome! This will definitely be my go to hotel anytime I'm down for a Florida State Football game!!
They also serve hot breakfast which was phenomenal!! Hands down the best hotel breakfast I have ever had!
Also the rooms are super clean, not one bad smell through the whole building, I was impressed!
The property is a mess. The first floor hallway near the exit close to the pool area smell like there was a dead rat somewhere. The room was overdue for a gutting and rebuild. The room also had a heavy smell. Not the dead rat smell tho. More of a heavy cigarette or moldy smell. I had 2 rooms that I paid over $300/each for but chose to pay another $300/ each for 2 rooms at the Baymont in Tallahassee. Room 118 should be off market
The location, near FSU and downtown, was great! There were plenty of things to do nearby, many within walking distance. We are dog owner's and this hotel is extremely pet friendly/welcoming which is why we seek out aLoft whenever we can. The staff was super friendly, the hotel is clean, and the rooms are spacious enough to accommodate the extras that come with traveling with a doggo.
Hotel was a great value for location, needed to be in the area for a training and 3 night total was about $100 less that most other options plus free parking and free breakfast. Last time I traveled to Tallahassee I accidentally booked a hotel that charged $25 per night for parking and no breakfast so at this hotel, I saved more than I spent.
The hotel is brand new, in a new repurposed area close to Collegetown.
The site has been part of the sheds used in railway activity in the past, and then it was reused for retail.
Breakfast is a little bit better than the standard of this hotel level.
The staff is excellent, and the room size is more than convenient.
From the minute we arrived at the hotel the service was amazing.
Katisha was at the front desk and greeted us with a smile and was so helpful. She is such an asset to your company. My daughter in law was traveling with a newborn and she was making sure she had a mini fridge and microwave in the room
The guest services young lady Shakira I think was her name. She was very welcoming and nice giving us some food location around town near the concert area , we was visibly As well as explaining the amenities at the hotel. Overall it was a great stay, and we will be back.
The hotel is unbeatable for the price.
The beds are perfect. The base of the beds could be better or newer.
The location is excellent; it is close to FSU, shopping, and restaurants.
They have plenty of parking spaces and provide a basic breakfast with your stay.
It is an average motel near a very accessible road to downtown. There are a lot of shops and restaurants around. The overall experience could be positive with a nice swimming pool and a small fitness room. We had a room on the back on the hotel which was very quiet.
They withdrawaled additional 24$!!!!!! For night from 27 to 28 we were charged for 200$!!!!!!!! The one night in terrible hotel were cost 75$!!!! And they without our permission charged us for 200$!!! Wtf!!!!!! We were there literally 7 hours!!!!
Fantastic hotel, especially for the price! I have stayed in a few hotels in Tallahassee, but Candlewood is by the best! I will not stay anywhere else in Tallahassee.
Young staff, very cool atmosphere. I missed my connection to Tallahassee and Contacted the hotel. I was only charged for two nights and not three. Excellent.
