The home was exactly as described, very nice and clean everything I needed. The area was perfect! Great location not far from Lake Sumter Landing where they have nighty entertainment. Plenty of restaurants and things to do. The Brownwood was about 15 to 20 minutes away which is a great spot to see.

It’s primarily a retirees area and I was there to help a family member. The area is nice and there are all the normal stores and shops you’d expect but there’s no character to any of it. It’s just all the same after a while. But I supposed with consistent weather and warm temps, you can’t beat that. It was extremely hot during my visit about 88 each day for October.

The variety of things to do in the Villages that are free to non-residents will keep you busy. You are right on the corner of Spanish Springs so you can walk around and shop. Only an hour from Disney and 90 minutes from Tampa or Daytona Beach.

The Villages is commonly described as Disney World for...
The Villages is commonly described as Disney World for senior citizens. It is a grouping of retirement communities with each one having its own theme and gathering square/shopping district. And each neighborhood has an activity center where you can go to do almost anything a senior citizen would care to do. Golf courses abound there and people use golf carts as a main mode of transportation within the community. There was a multitude of medical services available to care for those needs as well. As present there are about 121,000 people living in The Villages so there is plenty of car traffic despite the prevalence of golf carts.

There are many "sections" in The Villages!
There are many "sections" in The Villages! It is 55 miles with 160,000 senior citizens residing there. It is a great place for walking. Each section has different shops and the areas are quite a distance from each other. It would be nice if a shuttle within The Villages were available for visitors to get to a specific restaurant or shop. Great place for biking and walking nd golfing, among other sports. I ate at Chili's which was near the Holiday Inn Express. There is a Panera in the center of Spanish Springs as well as other restaurants.

The Villages goes on forever.
The Villages goes on forever. We would have been lost without our GPS. The squares were awesome, they were our favorite part of Villages. We visited friends who have s beautiful home on one of the golf courses.
The house was located in about the center of all the Villages and near many amenities. The property was one of the smaller ones but suited our needs perfectly. It was well stocked with linens and we loved having the golf cart. My husband golfed at least 4 times and took the cart every time. The pool was clean and the area was neat. Really, not one negative can be given for our one week stay.
the hotel is welcoming and beautiful. Makes you feel at home soon as you walk in. check in went smoothly and we were able to check in early also for no fee which was nice. Traveling with kids and a infant we needed the extra room and this place was able to accommodate us. Would definitely book her again if we are in the area:)
Our room was very comfortable and had obviously been renovated recently. The staff was friendly and accomodating, especially the woman who worked the breakfast room. The hotel was convenient to The Grand Oaks Resort, where an equestrian competition was held. that we attended.
The staff were all just as pleasant and obliging as they could be under the circumstances. Though the hotel was clearly understaffed, the workers all tried to accommodate our requests to the best of their ability.
The hotel was very convenient to Spanish Springs Square and was perfect for use of our bikes. The staff was very helpful and approachable. The room was all we needed and the laundry facilities were very clean.
It was an absolute pleasure to have the opportunity to stay in such a gorgeous home in The Villages! It was clean & the setting made our family feel at home!! Definitely plan on staying again if available!
Fantastic home! Very clean, easy access, super comfortable, I'll never stay anywhere else again, unless it is already booked! We stay in the villages 2 to 3 times a year. Highly recommend
Location was perfect since I was visiting relatives in the Villages. Breakfast was a mix of cereals or eggs/omelet bacon/sausage biscuit/gravy. Also a variety of breads and danish.
