Meals were held in the giant dining room with gorgeous views of the park and waterfall. For Breakfast there was fresh orange juice and quite a large selection of hot and cold dishes. The dinner was a buffet however it was excellent.
There's nothing that beats Yosemite in the winter with fresh snow and very few tourists.
Located in Mather, Evergreen Lodge at Yosemite offers a seasonal outdoor pool and children's playground. There is a restaurant and bar and guests can have fun at the games room.

The location was not far outside the park gate. The Merced River was roaring behind the buildings (in May), and we love the sound of the water. The pizza nearby was great!
