Most of the staff was very friendly. The maintenance staff was not very helpful. I reported a problem and offered a copy of the ADA standards governing hotel room doors. They were not interested.

It is an historic property: the RJ Reynolds Tobacco headquarters to hotel. The conversion has been gracefully done: Respectful of this exquisite building. City views are very nice. Decor is very nice.

I am pretty picky about my coffee, and the coffee at the hotel was pretty weak, but a Panera Breadstore and a Starbucks were nearby. Otherwise, the stay was perfect. I was in town helping with my son's and daughter-in-law's new baby, and the hotel was great for a five day stay. The staff was friendly & helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. The parking lot was well-lighted and most spaces were close to the front door.

I used to live in Winston Salem, NC and had just relocated to another state six months ago. I love the area and was familiar with the area the hotel was located. I retired from the hospital across the street. I felt safe and the staff at the hotel did not have their doors locked even at 4:30am when I checked out.

It was quiet and I felt safe.
It was quiet and I felt safe. The bed was great but not being to find I’ve anywhere was frustrating because I love ice cold drink! The USBz port was frustrating because I did not bring a wall wart and had to call and have my son bring me one from his house, has been a long time since I’ve saw a hotel without USB ports.

We got in and had just entered the reservation to get a room...
We got in and had just entered the reservation to get a room and desk clerk said we were very very quick to arrive. The city looks gorgeous we only saw it from in the dark as we had requirements to get back as fast as we could. The reason for our trip was one of the vehicles needed to be repaired and we had to drive down there from between Huntington and Charleston to get it before we were paying another $100 for storage fees on New Year's weekend. Traffic was picking up quite a bit but we just assumed due to the fact New Year's Eve was the next day we would be all right to get there and then drive back the next morning cuz we were both tired and are schedules have been shifted around due to the repairs on the vehicle. Thank you so much for having a beautiful facility available. We obtain food at night by having it but delivered by GrubHub and it was very very quick, for breakfast we needed to be sure that the one vehicle was all right so we got on the road and then after we were sure that everything was looking okay we pulled in and had waffle House for breakfast. We immediately finished eating and we're back on the road and had 4 hours to be back in our home destination. Just looking at what you have as amazing was the tall building with what looked like a came up in curves and I could have sworn it would look like a capital building with a gold top but like I said it was night it was dark when we arrived. When we departed we knew that we had to get moving due to weather that was starting to settle and to the areas I have to travel through. We ran through light snow starting to fall some freezing rain and as we're going along after we got out of North Carolina Virginia had trucks driving down the road had the plaza up but the boxes were getting really packed onto the road with salt and Sand to get the roads without ice.

For a city with lots of shopping areas, Interstate highway going through along with parkways, Winston-Salem is easy to get around in. The downtown is cute, Old Salem is lovely to visit and worth paying to get inside, the Kaleideum is a good place to take children and grandchildren, Tanglewood is nearby (huge park, fine swimming area, arboretum, woodland trails, etc.). Good restaurants, good coffee shops. (Bobby Boy Bakery is possibly THE best bakery-coffee shop we've ever visited, anywhere, and Camino Bakery is pretty good too.) And we went to see the Winston-Salem Dash play a game: minor-league baseball in an attractive stadium.

This is not it! Choose another hotel.
This is not it! Choose another hotel. The pictures on the website don't match. All service was watered down no pool entire stay yet we would see people in the pool but we were met with a typed sign saying pool closed on pool door entrance every day. Absolutely nothing for breakfast apart from stale cereal. I am requesting a refund.
From the amazing staff to the wide food selection at breakfast, amenities, cozy yet modern and spacious room, the kitchen area blew me away being fully equipped as well as beautiful. The pool, it was a great experience. I was amazed at how cozy yet fully equipped the hotel was. It's definitely a great family experience. I'll do this again. Other hotels need to take notes.
Nothing. Couldn’t watch football you didn’t have channel. Room shower door broken, barn door for bathroom broken. Dirty nasty everywhere. No ice machine on 4th floor big open hold in the floor. Every light in hall ways was damaged. Elevator nasty and dirty. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Very expensive have stayed many hotels this was one of the worst!
Master bedroom and living room were very large; master bed was extremely comfy; dedicated parking was wonderful to have; location could not have been better!!! Walking distance to everything downtown! Host was incredibly helpful and responsive; nice sized kitchen and 1.5 bathrooms.
A stylish, modern hotel. Centrally located in Winston Salem. Helpful staff. Housekeeping team particularly cheerful and generous with fresh towels etc. Good value for money. Having stayed in a few hotels in WS this is certainly top of the list and I would definitely recommend.
The room was amazing! it was a nice size King bed. Room was exceptionally clean and my 13 month old could crawl around. The hotel was in a great area. The staff were all nice except one of the housekeepers, but I do not think she could speak English too well.
Interesting building. Cosy lounge where milk and cookies were served in the evening. The historic site of Winston-Salem is close by in one direction and the centrum in the other with many galleries and street art. Nice and helpful staff.
Was able to get a room on Booking.com last minute and found a room at the same hotel that was apparently booked for the weekend. Paid for the room and came back an hour later and checked into our room.
Great downtown location. Close to many restaurants. Easy drive to area attractions. Room was clean. Bed & pillows were comfortable. Bathroom was nice and shower was great.
I didn’t get the room I ask for. Booking. Com stated one thing but when I arrived at the hotel and didn’t get the room accommodations we discuss! Major issues.
It's like an old brick turn of the century factory turned into a hotel and furnished as such. Lots of room.
Breakfast was good. Lot's to select from too.
