I love Bloubergstrand.
I love Bloubergstrand. It has a wonderful promenade and I always feel safe as there are always people out running and walking. The view of the mountain is breathtaking, and there are plenty of restaurants.

Bloubergstrand is beautiful, but the accomodation and reception awful. My partner has hip/back problems. I have compromised lungs after covid. Endless steep stairs to climb! Room was cramped, smelly. Seems like a little storage room. No view. Door lock not secure. Serious maintenance needed. At pool ashtray was full of smelly cigarette butts and wet tissue. We left same day, will never go back to Oceansnest. Driving from George, to come to this, stress of finding another accommodation, was very disappointing. Now for refund??? We had the most amazing two weeks staying here. The hosts were super friendly and very helpful with tips to do in the area. We will definitely come back here next time we visit Cape Town. Huge recommendation!

The photos on the booking.com are old and do not reflect accurately what the apartments look like now. It is deceiving. It is disappointing to not experience what you saw on websites etc. The rooms are not well maintained. Things are wearing away but are in OK condition. But the service was good.
