Ligger i et rolig og fint strøk. 20-30 min å gå til sentrum, men for oss var det helt greit. Leiligheten var romslig, og velutstyrt. Praktisk med to bad når vi var 5 voksne. Velkomstpakken med brød, pålegg, frukt og drikke satte vi pris på. Kunne gjerne bodd her igjen.

Outstanding House. Spotlessly clean and nicely decorated., your cleaning team are fabulous. Lovely and spacious. Great location. Free private Parking. Really quiet location. Great communication and contact ability Keycode so all in the party can come and go freely. 15 minutes by car from the Airport or the city centre, prefer to stay in a house like this to guarantee safety and a good quiet night than staying in the centre with all the noise and drunk people. Many thanks for your great hospitality

Castle Gogar Cottage, a property with a garden, is situated in Edinburgh, 7.4 km from Murrayfield Stadium, 8.5 km from EICC, as well as 10 km from National Museum of Scotland.

The 'Castle Gogar Cottage' is attached to Gogar Castle - and the hosts' home - and is located at the end of a picturesque driveway just off the main Glasgow Road, Edinburgh. As such it is a short drive to a host of local attractions, quality restaurants, bars, golf courses and sports venues. Despite having Edinburgh Airport as our immediate neighbour we were never disturbed by any of the aircraft operations. The quality of The Cottage's furnishings is exceptionally high and the presentation was of the highest standard. The Cottage is superbly well appointed with quality fitments, bedlinen, towelling and the like. The bedroom suites, bathroom and lounge are all wonderfully comfortable, well heated and delightfully cosy. The kitchen was very spacious and, again, extremely well appointed. Our host, Donna, welcomed us on arrival and quickly explained the layout and the attractions of the property. Donna was warm, engaging and considerate and her attention to the guests’ needs is flawless. Communications were speedy and helpful. The rain deterred us from using the outdoor patio but The Cottage's indoor facilities more than compensated for the dreary weather. We look forward to making a return visit as soon as we can and would highly recommend 'Castle Gogar Cottage' to all discerning visitors to Edinburgh.

The house was very clean, spacious and had all of the necessary amenities. The patio at the back was great. The owner was easy to talk to and was forthcoming when our arrival plans slightly changed. This house really made us wish that we could sfay longer.
