Great location, amazing nature! At night the northern lights are clearly visible - wonderful! Hot pot in severe frost- unforgettable :) Very comfortable guest house, wonderful hosts, everything is very convenient and thoughtful. I recommend to all. Thank hosts for the warm welcome and the opportunity to relax with you.

I can't thank the Hotel Manager enough! Iceland was experiencing unprecedented weather with -20 temperatures. We had booked a lodge with a hot tub but because of the cold, the pipes had frozen. Naturally we were disappointed, it was my 50th birthday and we had visions of seeing the Northern lights from the tub. The Hotel Manager went way above what we expected, he moved us to another lodge and personally oversaw the filling of the new hot tub, ensuring it reached the right temperature. At 9pm whilst in the tub we saw aurora borealis! What a memory! Thank you!

Very specious, completely equiped kitchen plus outside BBQ. Great location close to great hikes and views. Very isolated - you see no one around even though its very close to a camping ground and a hotel.

One of the best places we stayed in Iceland! Wonderful, wide views around the valley, renovated facilities, excellent restaurant on site and most helpful staff. Really glad we found this gem in a slightly less visited area of the island.
