Nicely apportioned house in the center of town. It's on the alley in a reasonably quiet neighborhood (there's a mosque down the street, but the call to prayer is mercilessly subdued at night). It's very easy walking to all the sights. There are also several good restaurants in the vicinity and a grocery store 2 blocks away. The house itself is fully equipped and beautifully decorated. The bedroom is kept comfortable with a strong AC. The host is a very nice person.

Everything about our stay was excellent! The location inside the Fort, and the authentic charm and beauty of the property, cannot be beaten. As a group of six friends, there was plenty of space across the 3 bedrooms, and the upstairs master bedroom opening on to the large terrace was stunning (including the view of the Fort walls). The communication and service from booking till the very of our stay, including from the live-in caretaker Sujee, was flawless!

Everything about this house was amazing! the house, the garden, the pool , the service! Amilani was a great host accommodating all our needs. Breakfast was exceptional, freshly prepared at the house. Pictures don't do this place enough justice. The only thing to consider is that the distance to Galle is about 20-25 minutes.

The staff were super friendly and their communication was great. Someone was available at all times to attend to our needs - this included arranging a tuktuk driver, taxi transfers and even a massage therapist straight to our terrace. The food was so delicious that we are going to be dreaming about it for a long time, we especially loved the breakfast. We felt absolutely spoilt having access to the pool and were lucky to be the only ones using it at the time of our stay. We saw monkeys and iguanas and lots of exotic birds and wildlife. If you’re looking for an peaceful jungle oasis with the kindest hosts, you should book this immediately :)
