Very bright, well laid out with plenty of room. Beds were very comfortable, everyone slept very well. Well equipped kitchen with large fridge freezer. Large walk in shower. The flat was comfortable at the temperature, and timings, we didn’t need to boost heat at all. Information booklet was well laid out and highlighted some things in the surrounding area worth visiting. The coded entry system was fantastic, and secure… no misplaced keys/cards/fobs.

There is also a seating area and a fireplace. Loved the Old Cricket Pavilion, very quiet, nice and peaceful place and brilliant for star watching!! Such a lovely place and exactly like the photos!! Very clean place and plenty of towels to use!! Loved the fireplace!! Good value for money and had a lovely surprise with bits of food left for us which was an added bonus!! Only a short walk to the river!! Very close to the train station too if you’re interested going into Newcastle only 30 mins away!! Overall loved our stay!!
