It is a great walk to Plaka and the Castro for breakfast and sunsets. The owners are fantastic and welcoming. I have stayed here several times and each time is better than the last. I can’t wait to go back again.

When we arrived we swam to the caves and back. What an exhilirating enoyable day. The location is close to many beaches and villages. The.host was gracious, generous, and attentive. He provided us with wine, food, gormet coffee. It was an increbile experience and I wish we could have stayed longer.

Cave Beach House Milos is situated in Provatas, 13 km from Catacombs of Milos, 15 km from Sulphur Mine, as well as 8.1 km from Milos Mining Museum. This type of property, a traditional syrma house, was such an authentic experience on one of the most beautiful islands of Greece! We were lucky enough to spend 4 nights enjoying the most gorgeous sunsets with the hypnotic lapping of the ocean all night, it was truly a dream. We visited many fisherman villages around the island & loved the sandy beach below our unit where I picked up frosty sea glass each morning with coffee. Our lovely, gracious & most personable host Natalia has remodeled this property to provide for every amenity you can need in such a cozy space. She met us at the port where we collected our car, necessary for this area, then grabbed a quick bite before she led us to the property. I’d say we are more independent adventurous travelers & I’d highly recommend this stay to anyone with great mobility as it is very hilly with uneven sidewalks, consider your balance & stamina. If you are up to it, you are in for the treat of a lifetime!!

The hosts were so attentive, responsive and thoughtful - helping us to get our luggage to the house and stocking the pantry and fridge full of snacks and treats for us and including snorkelling gear, towels and toiletries - everything you need is in the house. Don’t hesitate to book here if you’re in doubt - it will be an experience to remember. We will definitely be back!
