The beds are very comfortable; the food is fresh and tasty, but what really makes this place special is the people. The family that owns this farm are some of the most welcoming people I have ever met: Despite not bringing a car to the property, I had no difficulty in getting around because they were kind enough to drive me to where I needed to go, and they offered electric bikes when it wasn't possible to go by car. The people in the neighboring farms (especially Majerhold) are similarly welcoming; despite only staying for a few days, I really felt like I'd found a special community here, and I cannot wait to come back. English speakers, please note that several members of the family are able to speak English and you will have no difficulty communicating with your hosts during your stay.

Located in Luče in the Savinjska region, Na Rebri provides accommodation with free private parking. This holiday home features a garden. We knew the cottage was at a beautiful, quiet place in a side valley, but once we arrived, we were suprised how beautiful it was. It actually sits on a minor ridge, with great views of surrounding mountains (Raduha, Veliki Rohatec), valleys (Savinja river) and meadows. Behind the cottage there is a little rock covered with blueberry bushes. In the little garden in front of the cottage, you'll find a number of places, where you can sit and relax, including a shelter with a BBQ. The cottage itself is equipped in a simple, but practical way. We didn't miss anything either in the kitchenette or elsewhere. If it's colder, you can use a wood-burning stove in the living room/kitchen at the first floor. There is a double bed and two single beds in the bedroom at the second floor, which might be suitable for a family. If you travel with friends, you might better use the pull-out coach in the living room. When we arrived, the hosts were waiting for us with a key and a toast, as we announced our arrival in advance. The cottage was very clean and the bedlinen smelled nicely. The cottage is just a couple of kilometers from Luče, where you'll find several groceries. They are not opened on sundays, though. The cottage is not far (by car) from the most beautiful places of Kamnik-Savinja Alps.
