Just a 5-minute walk from the University of Technology (UTS), Vulcan Hotel is a boutique hotel that combines historic architecture with modern interiors, including a peaceful courtyard. I booked this hotel during the weekend when Taylor Swift was in town. Hotel prices were ridiculous, but the Vulcan was reasonably priced and provided complimentary breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised to find that this renovated old building has the charm of a boutique hotel. The staff was welcoming and always helpful. The complimentary breakfast was tasty and our room was delightful. It was the perfect place for a 3-night stay and we didnt mind taking Ubers to get to the harbor and explore the city. We loved this hotel

Would probably always stay there from now on. It is a quiet area and does not feel like you are in a busy city. Absolutely loved it! Very pleasant staff. Quality bedding. Loved the fact the we could make food in the little kitchen. Great value for money. It certainly didn't disappoint.
