We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel organized a cake for my brother, who had his birthday on that day. I have messaged them in advance to ask if they can do that, but didn’t expect that they would also decorate so nicely the table and even write a personalised birthday card! Room was overall modern and clean, with nice views of the park. Very good value for the money.

Cityhotel Storch in central Cologne is just a 5-minute walk from the MediaPark business complex and Christophstraße Underground Station . It offers simple rooms with free Wi-Fi and cable TV. The stuff are very helpful. Good location, not too busy. Comfy bed.
