Centrally located in Kolkata’s business district, Kenilworth Hotel, Kolkata offers a blend of modern and colonial architecture. Cleanliness and courteous staff. Infact, according to my personal experience, one of the only hotels that I've stayed in in India where every staff i met was polite and helpful - from reception to room service to security. Also, it's very close to US consulate where I had work. Will definitely come back and stay here again whenever I come back to Kolkata.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is walking distance to many cafés and restaurants. Even though the hotel is located in a random building which is not pretty at all, once you enter the rooms, it is very pretty. It is extremely clean and it looks way better from the inside that from the outside.

It was an amazing experience staying here. The hotel is located at a strategic location, with numerous restaurants and shopping malls nearby. The staff were helpful and well mannered. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to our needs. It seems that they were empowered to make decisions that were in the guests best interest on their own at the time required. No red tape. The food was also exceptional! Even arriving right on closing time at the restaurant after a big day of travel with two sleeping kids, they did not hesitate to serve us and ensure we were well fed and watered before going to bed ourselves (AND first time ever offered to carry my sleeping child up the stairs to the room - so very helpful, always with a smile and can do attitude). The staff actually anticipated our needs and made helpful suggestions each day. What a difference! THANK YOU!
