Did a daytrip from Tokyo but would return for a longer stay.

Conveniently set in the Nishikyo Ward district of Kyoto, Kadensho, Arashiyama Onsen, Kyoto - Kyoritsu Resort is located 1.6 km from Arashiama Bamboo Grove, 3.7 km from Otagi Nenbutsu-ji Temple and 4.5... The staff were very kind and accommodating, and the rooms spacious enough for our group! The variety of private bath options (both indoor and outdoor) were lovely and we really enjoyed relaxing. They also provide some free popsicles and yakult after your soak, which was super appreciated. As our booking included breakfast we were able to have some lovely food in the morning in our own little private area. Will definitely return if I ever come back to the area!

We enjoyed the location - 20 minute train ride from centre of Kyoto, walking distance to the Bamboo Forest and surrounds. We best liked that we had the town to ourselves before and after day-trippers.

Amazing place, first of all -the location ,just 5 mins walk to the river and 10 mins to the bamboo.I would recommend to take a bus of you are coming from Kyoto station,it is just 3 mins walk from the hotel. it was super clean and the bed was amazing comfy,I need the same blanket home now!they give you kimono so u can feel the vibe !it was unexpected and super nice ,love it!

Renovated in 2014, Hotel Binario Saga Arashiyama offers a restaurant, a café and a public bath. JR Sagaarashiyama Train Station and Torokko Saga Station is just a minutes’ walk away. The location was the best right next to the station we came from only walked 150 feet right to my room

I’d say this hotel is underrated. We stayed here when we visited places around/near Arashiyama so I won’t say that the location is bad. You just have to plan your trip and map it out. Staff were great, I can speak a little japanese but they can converse well in english, too. Room was great and spacious - and the sunrise view from our balcony was beyond perfect. The building is classic and well-maintained. They have a shuttle going to Saga Arashiyama station, but I don’t mind the 10-15 mins. morning walk.
