Located in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Arashiama Bamboo Grove, MUNI KYOTO by Onko Chishin provides accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking, a garden and a terrace. From the facilities & the view (mountain view room, coupled with sakura season & great weather) to the breakfast selection and overall location (right next to Arashiyama's Katsura river), I would 100% recommend booking a stay at Muni. Did a daytrip from Tokyo but would return for a longer stay.

Kuurort Arashiyama Onsen, Kyoto - Kyoritsu asub mugavalt Kyotos Nishikyo Wardi piirkonnas. The staff were very kind and accommodating, and the rooms spacious enough for our group! The variety of private bath options (both indoor and outdoor) were lovely and we really enjoyed relaxing. They also provide some free popsicles and yakult after your soak, which was super appreciated. As our booking included breakfast we were able to have some lovely food in the morning in our own little private area. Will definitely return if I ever come back to the area!

Attractively set in the Nishikyo Ward district of Kyoto, Riverside Arashiyama is situated 1.4 km from Arashiama Bamboo Grove, 3.5 km from Otagi Nenbutsu-ji Temple and 4.7 km from Katsura Imperial... We enjoyed the location - 20 minute train ride from centre of Kyoto, walking distance to the Bamboo Forest and surrounds. We best liked that we had the town to ourselves before and after day-trippers.

Situated right along the gentle streams of Katsura River and boasting a beautiful Japanese garden, Suiran, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Kyoto offers the perfect getaway for travellers seeking peace and... Peace and quiet. Scenery was amazing. Food was very good.

Sun Member Kyoto Saga asub JR Saga Arashiyama jaamast vaid 5-minutilise teekonna kaugusel. Hotell pakub läänelikke tube, tasuta WiFi-ühendust kõikides tubades ja fuajees ning restorani. I’d say this hotel is underrated. We stayed here when we visited places around/near Arashiyama so I won’t say that the location is bad. You just have to plan your trip and map it out. Staff were great, I can speak a little japanese but they can converse well in english, too. Room was great and spacious - and the sunrise view from our balcony was beyond perfect. The building is classic and well-maintained. They have a shuttle going to Saga Arashiyama station, but I don’t mind the 10-15 mins. morning walk.
