First off, the location was excellent. While my friends were walking 40+ minutes after a night out, I was less than a 5 minute walk from Amemura and 10-15 from the heart of Dotonborri. It was really close to the subway as well, and the facilities were clean and well kept. The staff was absolutely excellent, going above and beyond to help me. They gave me insightful recommendations that let me experience the area and food through the eyes of the locals, as well as helping me navigate bag sending and other travel questions I would have struggled with alone. I had an easy time meeting nice travelers and finding things to do like bars and karaoke, but was also able to find time to explore by myself which was exactly what I wanted. All in all, very positive.

Hotel 88 Shinsaibashi is an 8-minute walk from OCAT (Osaka City Air Terminal) and a 10-minute walk from Namba Station. Glico Man Sign is a 4-minute walk from the property. Location is very close to OCAT and Namba station. Staffs are so nice, generous and helpful. I asked staffs about how to go to Kuromon Market (about 1 KM from hotel) they took me there by hotel van and when I check out I have to go to OCAT station (about 4-500 Meters) they help me by took me there by hotel van and 1 staff walked me until the bus gate. I’m so impressed how they take care customer and I will stay here again when I go back to Osaka

Well located in the Shinsaibashi, Namba, Yotsubashi district of Osaka, 谷町君Hotel 難波77 is located 600 metres from Kamomecho Park, less than 1 km from Shiokusa Park and a 16-minute walk from Naniwa Park.... We loved so much Tanimachikun Namba 77 Hotel that we will definitely use the same hotel when we will be back in Japan. We got a family room as we wanted a big enough space to move around and open our luggages. Our son always say that "I like this room, it's so cozy and the bed is like my bed at home." The room is exactly as the photos. Cleanliness was as expected. We loved the automatic curtains and the spa music everytime we enter the room. The switches in the room were "lighted and labeled" so it is really easy to know which one to turn on at night without needlessly turning on all the light switches just to get to the one we want to turn on. We loved the warm toilet seats and the bidet which we also have back home (except the warming seats). The washer/dryer on the ground floor was very useful. There is a vendo machine just beside the laundry room. The staff were nice and responded well to our requests, they will even assist in calling a taxi. The hotel allows luggage storage. The hotel is very conveniently located. We felt safe even going out for dinners or arriving late at night. It is just less than 5 minutes walk to Namba Parks, Yamada Denki and the post office. It is near authentic japanese restaurants : Kura Sushi Global flagship store, Jumbo Sohonten (takokayi/okonomiyaki) and Coco Curry which we loved so much. Daikokucho station is less than 5 minutes walk. There is wifi in the hotel but we did not use this as we have pocket wifi. There is also a restaurant but we did not try it as we were always outside.
