Situated in a tranquil area in Gifu Region, a 52-minute drive away from JR Takayama Station, Mozumo boasts a hot-spring bath and rooms decorated with modern Japanese interior. We loved the subtile and tasteful architecture of the place. Everything was beautiful in its simplicity. The private onsen was fantastic especially with the forest in the background. Everything was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The staff was so kind and provided a perfect service. Food was excellent.

Nestled between untouched nature in the tranquil Northern Alps area, Hidaji offers spacious Japanese-style accommodation with traditional architecture. This property exceed my expectations....the service was excellent, so was the food. This place provides a family style cozy superb experience. Simply amazing!

Situated in the Okuhida Onsen district in Takayama, 29 km from Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village, Yunohirakan boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Free private parking is available on site. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoy authentic Japanese style meals and hot spring. The family run this hotel with a lot of thoughtful care and hospitality. The traditional Japanese meals were authentic and served with fresh Hilda beef and local vegetables. As a hot spring lover, the hot spring were beyond expectation. There are private room and shared room for hot spring, and they all have great view of quiet forest. (It was snowy the day I came, and the experience of bathing hot spring in a snowy forest was superb.) The owners are very friendly and kind!

Minshuku Takizawa는 다카야마 시에서 차로 70분 거리에 위치해 있으며, 구내에 무료 전용 주차장이 마련되어 있습니다. 오쿠히다 완구 박물관은 도보로 1분, 신호타카 로프웨이(Shinhotaka Ropeway)는 차로 10분 거리에 있으며, JR 마츠모토 역까지는 차로 90분이 소요됩니다. Hotspring options are great. Indoors or outdoors and all options are private. It was not very busy when I was there but I'm sure it gets very busy seasonally

From the A5 wagyu to the soba, everything was perfectly served. The room and onsen gave a very traditional Japanese feel and we enjoyed it very very much.

Set amid a beautiful landscape in Okuhida Onsengo hot-spring area, Yamazatonoiori Soene offers beautiful rooms in a Japanese style with river or garden views. Serene, authentic, and classy, this place has it all. It is criminally good value for the money. The keiseki dinner and breakfast were out of this world, probably the best meals I’ve ever had in my two trips to Japan (I’m fussy). A particular shout out to a staff member called Bhesh, a lovely Nepalese man who was extremely kind and helpful, I hope the hotel is rewarding him well for his excellent work.
