There was nothing to complain about, everything was perfect. We intentionally went in the coldest month with the worst weather and had the best time at the High View. These owners were pleasant and even though they had virtually no English skills everything that needed to be communicated was handled.

It’s located on the main road and has its own parking spot. There’s a bus stop just down the road and it takes about 15min to downtown. It’s stylish but also very comfortable. The view is spectacular, you can see the ocean from the bed, and the whole city of Funchal from the sauna and the balcony.

The apartment is nice, spacious and the terrace offers lots of space to relax. Localization is perfect - close to the city center, but you can also easily reach the main road to other cities.
