I spent a weekend here to 'reset' after a busy time and returned home completely refreshed. A special thanks to Susan and the team at reception who took the time to help me find some edible souvenirs in Beitou on my final day.

Grand Pleasure Spring Hotel er þægilega staðsett í Beitou-hverfinu í Taipei, 4,5 km frá MRT Zhongyi-stöðinni, 5,5 km frá MRT Guandu-stöðinni og 8,2 km frá MRT Zhuwei-stöðinni. We loved this hotel and wished we had booked more nights. The rooms are spacious, clean and the bed comfortable. The hot water tub in the bathroom is a definite plus. We also enjoyed the Beitou area, more relaxed and quieter than the bustle of Taipei, but an easy 27 min metro ride to the Taipei ,win station. We will definitely stay here again when we transit through Taipei.

Attractively located in the Beitou District district of Taipei, XDZ Hotel is situated 300 metres from MRT Guandu Station, 1.3 km from MRT Zhongyi Station and 2.8 km from MRT Zhuwei Station. - Location is near the MRT. Very accessible. - Room was very clean. - CR was huge and spotless. - Owner was accomodating and friendly.

Staff were very attentive, guiding us from the entrance to the lobby, then taking us up to our room and showing us the features of the room. All guest rooms include a private bath with onsen water. Our room included a sitting room and a separate room for the futon already laid out. The hotel itself was fairly grand, with mesmerizing interiors. Exploring it was quite a fun mini adventure. You can also enjoy the public bath as well, which was fairly big, but with some sections that were closed. We didn't do the dinner plan, but breakfast is included, which was buffet style and included a lot of options to choose from.

Located in Taipei, 3 km from MRT Fuxinggang Station, Water House provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. I loved this place. Stylish, Japanese feel to the room meshed with clean-lined modernism. The spa was very enjoyable and the water makes you feel amazing. This is very much a couple’s place though, as the room has zero privacy of any kind- glass walls to the private spa and bathing area. So if you’re traveling with someone, make sure you’re “friendly.” I enjoyed the breakfast as well.

Beautiful hotel with Japanese style rooms which included a separate seating area to enjoy tea and snacks, and in room onsen that you can fill directly from the hot springs. Our room was spacious, immaculate and very comfortable. We also took advantage of the public hot spring baths located on the lowest level of the hotel which are Japanese style (meaning, no swimsuits and women and men's baths separated). There is also a swimming pool and children's play area with different activities, such as VR headsets. We enjoyed the selection at the breakfast buffet and took advantage of the shuttle bus that went to downtown Beitou. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Featuring free WiFi and a sun terrace, Hotel Royal Beitou offers accommodation in Taipei, 2.3 km from New Beitou Hot Spring. The service was phenomenal. At check-in, we were greeted, offered herbal tea, and asked to sit down while checking in. I speak a little Mandarin and the check-in manager very kindly humored me by speaking with me in that language, then seamlessly transitioning into excellent English when he knew my husband would benefit from hearing what he was saying and/or that the directions might be complicated for me to understand. He was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us detailed suggestions on things to do and where to have lunch, then gave us a map where he wrote down notes on how to get to the places he suggested. Another front-of-house employee showed us to our room and explained all its features as well as how to use the en suite hot spring bath and the the hotel communal hot springs facilities. We really enjoyed our hot spring bath, and loved exploring the area, which was all walk-able from the hotel. The room was very modern and had interesting features such as a table that nested under a counter until it was swung out into the room when needed. They also provided great drinks and snacks in the room, already included in the room rate. Breakfast was good, though we were a little confused by the format of being able to order and also going to the buffet. Overall, we loved this hotel and Xinbeitou, and it easily was the most relaxing part of our trip.

We managed to get the room at a discount due to last minute booking. Room was clean and grand and in-room onsen bath was perfect. Welcome treats were nice and fancy. Only there for one night, hotpot restaurant and onsen available and location of hotel at top of stairs meant we didn’t end up leaving the hotel until checkout.
