The room and location, everywhere we wanted to go or visit was within walking distant. Near airport and train, but couldn’t really hear any noises, so that’s a plus.Liked that our room and a microwave and fridge.

Everything was perfect to me! I came to the US for the first time for studying abroad. And this hotel was the very first place I stayed at in the US, and then I moved to the apartment on the following day. It was an auspicious beginning of my life in the US because I could enjoy and experience many things around the hotel. I could go around Little Italy so easily from this hotel and everything at the hotel was all I needed! Thank you very much for the incredible service!

Located in Downtown San Diego’s Little Italy, Porto Vista Hotel In Little Italy offers a bar with panoramic views of San Diego Harbour and San Diego International Airport. We chose this place because it has a fridge in the room, which is not common. The location is perfect: really nice neighborhood.

Directly off the I-5 motorway and 8 minutes' drive from San Diego International Airport. Location was amazing. It was walking distance to the Port of San Diego and other tourist area's. We enjoyed walking around the area and discovering the port itself, Lamplighter district, ect. We also did the Hop on Hop off trolley that took us to Old Town where we enjoyed a fantastic Mexican dinner. The room was more then I expected. Had a one bedroom suite which was way to much for two of us, but was the best priced available stay in the area close to the port. The second bathroom was a bonus! Very good hot breakfast offered in the morning, and there is a little convenience store in the lobby for the things you forgot, or a place to grab a beer or wine for your room. Staff was fantastic, and very happy. Had a concern about a taxi we had pre-ordered, and the lobby staff was on the phone immediately to find out where our taxi was. Very Excellent stay and will consider this hotel for our next visit to San Diego!

Staff very friendly - nice room with great pool area.
