We had breakfast at the Ritz, a late night hamburger in the "bar" area , and ordered room service -- one the best BLTs I have had. Food and service were first-rate. I also used the workout facilities which were spotless and presented many options -- treadmills, bikes, weights

Located in downtown San Francisco, this hotel is 7 km away from the famous Golden Gate Bridge. University Club of San Francisco features multiple squash courts and rooms with free WiFi. The building is a magnificent piece of San Franciscan history, it's almost worth staying there just to visit the building itself. Perfectly positioned next to the tram stop and a very short walk from Union Square and some great restaurants. I'd like to give a special mention to the staff, in particular Fred who gave us a great tour of the hotel and told us all the stories associated with the place.
