We booked Cocolhu because we wanted to experience the nature and wild life of Tamarindo and is was for sure a good choice. Cocolho is the best glamping facility in Tamarindo. The place is very well equipped and exceeded our expectations. The sunset and sunrise was spectacular. It was a little rainy and we sat under the stars in the rain and enjoy the nature and sounds of the several animals around. At 4:30 AM we started hearing the monkeys and birds and that was a unique experience. The owners live close by and are very friendly and helpful. If you have to reach the location you can better take the route from Tamarindo, because it is better assessable, especially in rainy season. You don't need to worry about food in case you don't want the leave at night because you can order from a great variety of restaurants. You can also book Yoga classes and massage. If you are staying for short term you can arrange also in advance. Just contact the property owners and let them inform you or guide you. We had a very unforgettable great stay in Cocolhu. We recommend this location highly.

Amazing place, quiet, private outdoor shower, little patio in front of every bungalow overlooking the pool, outdoor kitchen has everything you need to make coffee and breakfast, the hosts recommended and helped us book a catamaran tour for us for the next day that turned out to be the highlight of our stay in Tamarindo! The hotel is family owned. They are all very friendly and helpful. A daily breakfast is made to order and it is delicious. You won’t walk away hungry for sure! The hotel is tucked away on a quiet side street, just a 5 min walk to the shops and beach. The rooms are comfy and the wifi works well. We were a group of four and stayed in the family suite. It worked well for us. We would definitely stay again.

The pool is great for a cool down and the trees next to the pool had a variety of colourful birds that would visit. I loved the breakfast here. I had the avocado toast with scrambled egg and it’s delicious. If we visit again and I would definitely stay here. It’s on a quiet street with parking, but only 5 minutes walk to the centre of Tamarindo. The beach is very close by also.
