We visited Sandcastle Resort while touring India on our motorcycles and were extremely pleased by the quality of our accommodation. The resort is close to the attractions in Jaisalmer but also far enough away to provide peace, quiet and tranquility. The finish and decor in our room was brilliant, the bed was extremely comfortable, everything was clean, and our host was kind and helpful. Many thanks for a relaxing stay!

The owner hanif and staff were so helpful starting with a free pickup from the train station and at the end he even took us to the train station at 2 am for free! He also arranged an 1night 2 day desert safari for us, and was available for any questions we had. The safari he arranged was a great experience. Our camel safari guide babu was the absolute best, really recommend asking for him if you’re planning to do the safari! He brings a great cheerful vibe and cooks delicious meals and chai (and teaches you how to) on open fire in the desert. He is also a very interesting and funny guy and really made our trip a memorable one :). The hostel has a very homey vibe and babu also told us the owner is always very good to him and his staff, which is always good to hear!

The accomodation was very, beautiful, confortable, clean spacy. cosy. The bed was amazing, the mattress very confortable, the sheets very soft and warm, I had a really Good night sleep there. In the very peacefull environment. The bathroom was also very well done, well equipped according the european standarts. The stuff is very sweet and satisfies every demande. The food was also delicious, out of this world. I know that I will come back again❤️🙏Thank you🙏

From a female, european solo traveller ;) Price-quality ratio is unmatched, I'd say. This is a very nice, budget-friendly place. It's clean and tidy. The host is there to advice for anything you might need and has some great local recommendations, for quality, local food, good views, shopping where the national tourists shop too (so at very reasonable prices) etc. etc. The location is great, as it's in walking distance (10-15 mins) from the centre and the fort, but it's far enough away from the main road to not have all of the noise of the traffic :D So, you can feel cozy and get some rest, but you're close to everything :) I also booked my desert camp with Ali and it was AMAZING!!! Very clean (especially for European standards) (full review is on Rumis Desert camp and resort, for those lf you who want to have a look)

I highly recommend the camp experience, because it is a great way to take a break from the chaos of Indian cities. We booked 2 tents and I can say that they were truly beautiful. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom and room in general were super clean. We had enough hot water to take two showers, which is not a given in this country. At sunset we took a camel ride and it was truly magical. We then had dinner in the desert around a fire and the food was truly delicious. What strikes you the most, however, is the kindness of Shambu, the owner of this place. He first came to pick us up in the city and then throughout our stay he was super helpful and attentive to our every need. The structure is new, only two years old, but I can say that it has potential. I wish Shambu great success, because he really deserves it.

We stay for the 2 night at camp tent are neat and clean and very spacious food was very tasty and delicious. Very comfortable stay staff was very friendly and helpful. When come jaisalmer dunes then must do jeep and camel safari Highly recommended

So many activities are there like Jeep safari Camel safari Paragliding and parasailing Bike ride in dune. Activities in sand dunes are a bit high priced as the rides are very short paced, so be watchful when you decide to take those rides. The dunes also serve as the venue for traditional Rajasthani folk performances, including music, dance, and folk songs, adding a touch of local culture to the desert landscape. Additionally, adventurous travelers can engage in activities like sandboarding and jeep safaris to explore the dunes. The Sam Sand Dunes offer an enchanting desert experience.

The staff at Helsinki are fantastic. Really accommodating and polite. We had a really fun time with the desert activities and just walking around the dunes. This is a more private location so you really feel alone. Incredibly comfortable bed and great hot water.
