Exceptional views from just outside the building of Gifu mountains, and the rooms themselves are very well-equiped and comfy, considering the price! Also, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I could check-in without a physical passport (as I didn't have it at the time), and helped me check-in just with a picture I had of it.

A business style hotel, but, as a foreign tourist visiting over new year, the staff made sure I had what I needed to do some hiking and where to eat. The onsen, a daily ritual for many domestic visitors, was a treat. Helpful and kind.

I liked the communal area, the comfy room, the bath house and the staff. Nakatsugawa is a lovely quiet town and very easy to get to Magome or Tsumago from the hotel.

The room was comfortable with air conditioning and windows that opened. The beds were nice to sleep in. We had a bathroom in our room but I used the onsen bath on the first floor. It was beautiful. I couldn’t fault this hotel. Friendly stall. Close to train station and eating places. The supermarket wasn’t far to walk. A very comfortable stay. We ended up having an extra night there

The common area downstairs with free tea and coffee is spacious and ideal for groups of friends who want to hang out before heading back to their rooms. We enjoyed the tatami room with comfy futons.
