This stay was just perfect. In the beginning accommodation - tent surrounded by nature with beautiful scenery around. Tent was very clean and equipped with everything needed, towels, shower gels, mosquito spray even torque for dark night. More over the host offered us a grill in the evening and it was MAGICAL. When I was searching for some comments before I red positive opinions about dinner but couldn’t believe, what can be so unique about dinner, right? It turned out it can be! This was something special, barbecue with candles and sky full of starts, with a nice service and delicious food- AMAZING. And last but not least safari - I couldn’t imagine better experience. We joined a morning safari, that stated 5:30 AM, we had really experienced guide that spotted leopard and elephants as a first in the park! I was amazed, I was fluttered. Our host joined us on safari and took pictures with profesional camera that later he shared with us. 10/10 - highly recommended!

האירוח והשירות היו מדהימים! רק הגענו וכבר בנדרה (Bandara) מצוות המלון יצא לקראתו עם מגבות קרות ושייק טעים במיוחד. המקום אותנטי ונעים וזו לגמרי חוויה יוצאת דופן שעשינו לאורך הטיול שלנו. החדרים נעימים ומבודדים, האוכל טעים מאוד, המקומות של ארוחות הערב והבוקר מרשימות ונעימות. בנוסף, יצאנו לטיול ספארי מטעם המלון- המדריך Dinesh והנהג היו מאוד נחמדים וסופר מקצועיים. הסביר לנו על השמורה והחיות שנראה לאורך הטיול. היה מאוד מאוד מוצלח. ממליצים מאוד להגיע לשם! חוויה מיוחדת ! לאורך כל השהות במלון Bandara ליווה אותנו ונתן לנו תחושה נעימה. חגגנו את ירח הדבש שלנו שם וקיבלנו מהם ובעיקר ממנו הרבה פינוקים ויחס נעים🙏

First ask yourself what is the reason you want to be here - if you are here for the nature alone, Nilantha is the best person you can stay with and who you SHOULD take as a guide with you to the safari. He has a degree in biology , fluent English and knows so much about the local fauna and flora so a full day safari doesn’t get boring (which I can imagine can if you only take a driver with you). He is a true believer in ecotourism and is giving back to local communities. If you are here for a fancy dinner and facilities, go somewhere else. This is a simple stay in the jungle. And one more thing to add - your guide is not responsible for how many animals you’ll see BUT we were lucky and he for sure knows some spots where they MIGHT appear. And last but not least- Nilantha is a great and nice person we had a chance to meet :)

The Tree house was amazing !! Nice and wonderful experience ! The location was in a middle of no where only nature around but you feel safe. They organised a pickup to do Safari in Yala Park i highly recommend it !! They really well welcomed us ! Thanks 🙏 The staff was friendly and helpful.

Kulu Safaris is a completely exceptional place to stay in every way and it was the highlight of our holiday in Sri Lanka. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Our guide, Jeana, was very knowledgeable about Sri Lankan wildlife and a lovely person, we learnt a lot from talking to her on our safaris. We also went kayaking on the lake which was beautiful. The tents are so comfortable to stay in and it's a very peaceful location, surrounded by nature. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious and we were served our meals in different locations around the site, which was beautiful and very romantic. It is expensive, but the safari and other activities is included, as well as all food and drink, and so I think it is definitely worth the money, particularly as Kulu is very eco-conscious and ensures minimal disruption to the wildlife. Overall, I couldn't recommend staying at Kulu more highly, and I hope to go back one day.

מיקום קצת מרוחק בתוך הספארי אבל החוויה ממש שווה את זה! קיבלו אותנו בשעה מאוחרת יחסית עם ארוחת ערב. אנשים נחמדים ואדיבים מאוד! החדרים נקיים ונוחים ומאוד מיוחדים. ממליצה בחום לכל מי שרוצה לחוות את הספארי בצורה שונה

We stayed at the leopards nest for 1 night and it truly was an unforgettable experience. After reading some mixed reviews, it exceeded our expectations and I am so happy we planned this into our itinerary. The hotel sent driver information which we shared with our driver and everything was seemless. The safari truck was waiting for us and we did the afternoon safari. The guy was great, really knowledgeable- we were lucky enough to see elephants really close up and many other amazing animals. He then took us to the hotel around 6pm. We had a bbq dinner which was very cute, the food was really good quality too. We booked a sky nest and had a couple of little frog visitors in the bathroom but we didn’t mind, they added to the memories! The sky nest was really clean and more comfortable than we were expecting. WiFi only worked in the main restaurant areas but that’s okay, it was nice to be off the grid for one night. Again, breakfast exceeded our expectations and the hotel liaised with our driver for a smooth pick up. The staff are lovely and I fully recommend for one night if you want a safari and jungle glamping experience.
