It was very cosy and a nice retreat. You wake up in a park with hummingbirds in front of your door and a great view of the volcano. Then you can hike the Park trails (ca.3h) and experience a hidden jungle, waterfall with a lot of fauna. Also there is a cool viewpoint where you can get a photo of the volcano and the jungle.

It's a local family owned business. We stayed there for 4 nights, and even before we got there we contacted the host: Evi, who helped us a lot with planning our stay at La Fortuna and book some attractions. The place has an amazing location! Just outside the city but 5 minutes drive so you can enjoy the quiet and the perfect view of the Arenal volcano and still feel close to the city. Evi was available for us at all times with every question or help we needed. The room was spacious and clean but take into account that the toilet and shower are in the same space as the rest of the room. However with only 2 glamping tents you can really feel the privacy. The shared kitchen was well equipped with all the things we needed, and was designed optimistically.

Pura Vista Glamping ligger i El Castillo de La Fortuna, tæt på Arenal Eco Zoo og 26 km fra La Fortuna-vandfaldet.... Pura Vista Glamping was a great find and place to spend the night. Wendy and Roger were super helpful in helping us find a place to eat and in suggesting things to do while we were there. High recommend the Essence Arenal Jungle Night Tour right across the street from Pura Vista. It was an exceptional 90-minute tour with Aurelio. The photo was the view from our little dome deck

It was impecable! View right to the Arenal volcano, all forest in front of you. The room had everything you could need and more. The laundry service was free of charge and it was very good and quick. The house was new and furnished with amazing style. We hardly wanted to leave the room to do other activities! Also, the tours offered were very good and the information about them was very complete and clear. Food was also really good in all the restaurants. We used a lot room service and we loved it. All the staff was kind and ready to help you in any possible way.
