Beautiful location right on the nile with beautiful views. Ghandi is amazing he is super knowledgeable and helpful. Really the most genuine man we met in Egypt. Stayed 2 days longer because aswan and this place was amazing. Met amazing people. Breakfast was awesome. We stayed in a tent on the roof which was super ocol- amazing views for sunset. He helped order cheap food every night and had awesome recommendations for things to do. Helped with tours and was up at 4am to make sure everyone got off OK to Abu simbel. His son was super cute and had a good time watching him watch the world cup! Really a cool spot to come. Nubian village is cool. It is an easy walk or cheap minivan to down town but we were so glad we stayed in this chill spot away from it all. The free tea was also amazing and heaps of toilets which always spotless

Todella helppo matka juna- asemalta lautalla yli ja lyhyt kävelymatka lautalta kohteeseen. Nähtävää kävelyetäisyydellä( haudat, rinteessä näköalapaikka, kameliratsastuksen päässä aavikolla muinainen koptiluostari. Nubialaiskylä moskeijoineen. Quest housessa erittäin viihtyisä kattoterassi keittiöllä yhteiseen oleskeluun. Huoneiden yhteydessä viihtyisä olohuone ja parveke. Erinomainen, monipuolinen aamiainen ja mehua puristettuna tuoreista hedelmistä..Eka iltana saimme myös kutsun yhteiselle illalliselle pihamaalle paikallisten ystävien seuraan. Joka ilta kattoterassilla oli rentoa yhdessäoloa ja musiikkia ja yökahvinkeittorituaali. Todella kodikasta ja rentoa. Tunsin itseni tervetulleeksi. Paljon pieniä kivoja eleitä isäntäväeltä kuten hedelmäsalaattia tai kahvia, kun päivällä lepäilin riippumatossa tai istuin päivittämässä uutisia säkkituolissa loikoillen. Hulppat maisemat myös siitä terassilta. Yksinkertaiset, erittäin siistit ja viihtyisät huoneet. Vastasi hyvin mielikuvaa, jonka sain ennakkoon. Jään kaipaamaan nubialaista ystävällisyyttä ja hymyjä. Ehdottomasti pidemmänkin vierailun arvoinen paikka.

The accommodation provides evening entertainment and a shared kitchen.... This is a real gem of a hostel - the position outweighs everything else. Superb location and so lovely to be somewhere so beautiful and peaceful and to travel everywhere very cheaply by boat. The manager Rehab speaks fantastic English and is lovely and incredibly helpful. The other Nubian staff are also lovely. Don’t be put off by the basic shower - it’s hot with a great jet. Yousef the boat driver/helm is a cutie. Breakfast was good but no tea or coffee offered. Evening meal was simple and could be improved but it didn’t matter due to the location - the restaurant on the neighbouring island opposite the temple was great but try to avoid 8-9pm as that’s when the temple light show is on if you want a peaceful meal. Abu Simbel day trip was worth the drive. Visit Elephantine Island from Aswan and wander to the Green of the other side through the streets of the village - real rural Nubian life and well worth it. Also take a Felucca trip (about £5 or 200el per hour). Worth seeing the soul/market for the spice shops, real life and felafel making. Just a gem of a tranquil place to stay!

Majoitusyksikössä on 4 vuodetta. Kabara Nubian House has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Abu Simbel. The accommodation features room service and a 24-hour front desk for guests. All, everything is perfect, the hospitality, staff very very friendly, very close from the temples but if you don't want walk, the hotel has a tuk tuk. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. If you are looking a real Nubian experience, this is the place. We lost the 1st night and the owner offered stay one night more. The road to Abu Simbel is close for tourists at 5pm so if you arrive in Aswan late (between 4-5 pm)to be pickup by a taxi, is impossible you can go to Abu Simbel, is better you stay one night in Aswan and Next day Go. You can arrange everything with the hotel, taxi and stay one night in Aswan, also they have a new beautiful nubio hotel in Aswan. Thank you very much to owner and all team Kabara Nubian House.

Situated in Aswan, just 23 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum, Nubian Farm Aswan features beachfront accommodation with a private beach area, a garden, a bar and free WiFi. I like and enjoy here too much, The people there are nicely and purely. The environment there is really less crowd, you can enjoy the sunshine and spend whole daytime at the wonderful place
