An extra special, late night hot chocolate delivery for our daughters on New Year’s Eve was certainly going above and beyond our wildest expectations!

We were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the warmth of our beds. The igloos are made so thoughtfully with every part of it made for a specific function for your comfort. The location was magical, surrounded by beautiful snow covered forest beside the lake and only 12 min walk from the nearest bus station. Enjoyed BBQ at Lappish BBQ hut. The sauna and shower were spacious and super clean .Milda cooperated in all respects to make our stay so memorable at igloo.

Located on the island of Vartiosaari, this hotel offers rooms with Finnish design and free WiFi. The island is accessed via a 72 metres long hanging bridge over the river Kemijoki. The setting was absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous snow and scenery. Very quite area. The rooms were stunning, had everything we needed. Very friendly, homely feeling. Its a family run hotel, the lady who was working the days we were staying was so friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to chat to our kids about there days trips and what plans they had when she would meet them outside. Taxis are about 30euro from the hotel to Santa Claus Village & City Centre.

One night in Tankavaar saves you between 1500 and 2000 NOK(divide with 10 for Euros) a night!...

The cabin is located on a small hill with a nice view over the fells. Even the cabin is small, you find everything there you need! Kitchen well equipped, modern bathroom, comfortable beds! Even I arrived before check-in time, they made sure I could already pick up the cabin key.
