It was truly magical! We arrived in the dark and had to wait for the morning to see the surroundings - it didn’t disappoint. The view was stunning, you could see Downpatrick Head and Dun Briste. The inside was as good as the outside - Lianne turned on all the hearer before we arrived so it was warm and cosy. Everything was perfectly clean and we were surprised how modern everything was! Even the bedatress was heated!

We had a lovely stay. The house is beautifully restored and just a few minutes' walk from the village of Newport. The rooms are very quiet, the bed was really comfortable, super tea and coffee facilities in the room and breakfast was delicious (with options for vegetarians). Erica is such a welcoming and helpful host and very knowledgeable about the local area. She makes every guest feel at home and nothing is too much trouble!

The location was ideal for us, we flew into knock airport and then drove to a show at the royal theatre in castle bar, grabbed a dominoes so didn’t really use the facilities but I’d have stayed forever if the childcare providers would’ve allowed.

Our host Seamus was absolutely a treasure of information and fun. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was generous in offering us lifts to town and filling us in in local history. We really enjoyed and appreciated his presence. A true gentleman 💚

Westport Glamping is situated 5 km from the Westport on the Wild Atlantic Way. Doon Angus Farm is 20.7 km from Croagh Patrick mountain. It offers views of the surrounding countryside. Kind owners and beautiful place

The tent features garden views. The unit offers 3 beds. Set in Cong, Cong Glamping provides accommodation with free WiFi, 1.5 km from Cong. Free private parking is available on site. Very clean and organized site. There were a rew bits missing that would have made the trip exceptional, There was no toaster in the campers kitchen & the cooker rings don't heat up, they are old. I put on boiled eggs, left then fir 40 Mins & they still hadn't reached boiling point. Apart from those two things it was fabulous. Staff are very welcoming, bathrooms are exceptionally clean for having such a large volume of guests. I would definitely return.
