After I dropped my phone in the sea they helped me printing ferry and flight tickets, Nunu gave all great tips about what to do on the island(with the map) and Sofia even brought me and Andreia to the airport! Also the lady of breakfast was very friendly and workawayer Lucy. Don’t forget the amazing dog Tejo. The place feels like home, very relaxed! Super clean and organized. Calheta Glamping Pods - Nature Retreat ligt op 27 km van Cabo Girão en biedt een buitenzwembad en een tuin. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een patio en gratis WiFi. One of the best accomodations we've ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous surroundings, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. We certainly felt like we were in paradise valley. The gardens in springtime are full of colour and delightfully scented. The atmosphere of the whole property is incredible, perfect for relaxing. We had an amazing experience, the host also was incredibly helpful.The room was wonderful, cozy, clean, and fully equiped!! Great touch was the freshly baked delicious bread every morning. Definitely a must do if you are looking for a good time in Madeira!!!

Everything was really clean and we had everything we needed. A very beautiful place to stay. We would highly recommend it.

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door de gastheer die ons het huisje en van alles te vertellen had over het terrein. We kwamen binnen in een heel knus en modern ingerichte Shelter. Voor alle weersomstandigheden een hele fijne plek. De ligging is super! Je bent echt weg van de bewoonde wereld en omringt door natuur. Veel mooie wandelpaden zijn op loop- of rij afstand. Wij hebben hier 4 heerlijke nachten gehad! Dikke aanrader!

The fully equipped kitchen has a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and a microwave. Lovely cabin surrounded by mountain views, we saw so many stars at night. There's a great place to eat and drink (O Barracão), just 10 mins walk from the cabin, and it's only 20 minutes drive from Funchal (we had a rental car, but I believe there's a bus stop nearby too). It felt like a little home away from home, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the little kitchenette had a stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Our host was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!
