Vila das Velas is beautiful property. It was spotless and staff were very friendly. Our room was in the main building and the balcony was so lush and green. We sat out there quite a bit and found it very peaceful. We didn’t have the best weather when there so we loved the 3 pools while raining. the bar staff were very friendly, somehow they made the best caipirinhas I’ve had throughout Brazil and Portugal! The hotel went above and beyond for New Year’s Eve when they surprised us with a huge complimentary gift basket with sparkling wine, champagne glasses and so many snacks. It was such an unexpected gesture.

This is a small pousada like a boutique hotel. The owners are there to great you warmly. We found the accomodation to be zen in spirit. Only steps from a small supermarket, restaurants, and the beach of Caiçara part of Pereque beach.

Simply one of the best stays of my trip in Brazil , I met Rodrigo who took care of everything for me , we went diving together saw so many fish and turtle but most importantly he brought me to the best places of the island , went eat together and also dropped me off with a kindness that only exist in Brazil ! I will be back for sure in Ilha Bella! I loved my stay there

Everything! The room was beautifully clean, we had a private bathroom, the pool was cleaned daily and the various seating areas, including the hammock were really comfortable. But what made this place really special was Berta & Berto. They were the most amazing hosts, full of tips about the island, full of kindess and a zest for life and so generous. It felt like a home away from and we will definitely return next time we go to Ilhabela!

The pool was salt water which was amazing and unexpected, across the street from the beach, amazing kingsize bed. Not too soft and not too hard (coming from a person with back issues). Amazing view, saff super friendly and doing their best to communicate with you in English and they did great! The restaurant was in the garden and the crew was (guess what) … totally amazing!!! I loved the place and Im going back there!!!
