We needed logistical help arriving and departing, and the owners personally helped with their local knowledge. We are grateful to our hosts and have already booked another stay!

Personal touch, the owner, Joseph, is extremely helpful, takes care of all your travel needs, gives you a little tour of Kollam. In short: really takes care of you and loves his job. We really had a pleasant stay, personal and nice. I can really recommend anyone who travels to Kollam to stay there. Btw: if you are interested in Hindu festivities and rituals, tell Joseph, he will find memorable trips. And yes: all your backwater trips will be taken care of, too

At the guest house, units are fitted with bed linen and towels. The host is very nice and accommodating. We had been traveling all day and after checking in late, he brought us up a bowl of fresh fruit because we didn't give a solid answer on if we had eaten or not. So sweet! 10/10 recommend doing the backwaters tour with him. It is such a special experience. His friend Valentine does a beautiful tour and dinner.

With a balcony, each room has a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. Some rooms have air conditioning. Very friendly and forthcoming hosts. They cook awesome home cooked food on request and we’re supportive with other matters as well. The property is very nice and the room spacious and clean. The location is great for getting to the cliff, beach or restaurants a bit further back from the cliff. Everything is easily walkable.

Enjoying wonderful views of the Indian Ocean, Magnolia Guesthouse Varkala is just a 3-minute walk from Odayam Beach. Ayurvedic massage treatments and yoga sessions on the beach are also provided. Wi-Fi is free in public areas. Very good stay. Nijad especially was very helpful. The staff were very kind and welcoming. The rooms were very neat and tidy. Would definitely recommend anybody.

This guest house offers free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The guest house has family rooms. The cleanliness and the behaviour of the staffs and everything was good . This is a honest review not by any of them recommendations.

The guest house specialises in an American and vegetarian breakfast and breakfast in the room is also available. A minimarket is available at the guest house. The stay was exceptionally good. Special thanks to Rajagopal chettan & wife for treating us like their family. The food was awesome, you will get delicious homemade food as per your request and ontime. If you are someone who wants to try Mud house, this one will be a good choice.

We stayed in the tree house and loved being a little part of the forest. The Breeze Hill resorts are located at a pristine location, away from the hustle of the city. There was a little difficulty we faced in reaching the place as it was hilly. Please travel with a driver who knows the area already. The tree house was very nice, and the staff was very very helpful, polite and friendly. Thanks to them, we had great food everyday, in the beautiful forest. Would really come back for this. :)

This was our 'relaxation phase' of our trip and Ajay went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our stay was accommodated and exceeded! Food, drinks, transport, entertainment, restaurants... he catered to our every need and he's also an incredibly kind, caring and considerate man! The space is pure bliss - secluded beach with golden sand and clear warm waters, with an immaculate room, huge comfortable bed, outside terrace with sunset views every evening (either from the room itself or the upstairs terrace). We've since recommended his beautiful place to friends and we 100% recommend Shore Stories to other booking.com guests! Thank you Ajay!!
