Situated in remote island of Shiraishi, Shiraishi Island International Villa offers accommodation surrounded by nature. We really enjoyed our stay at International Villa on this small, but beautiful island. The view is absolutely worth it’s price and the room was clean and modern furnished. The house offers everything you need, there is a shared space outside as well as an living room and a spacious kitchen. If you plan to cook, you won’t miss anything. Also the check-in went easy an the manager was very friendly and kind.

Guest House Toranjyo-lit is set in Tamano, 60-minutes from Takamatsu via ferry and 60-minutes from Okayama via train or bus. Guests can enjoy the on-site cafe. First of all Yuki was so nice to pick us up at the bus station, which was a great help because we had heavy luggage! Secondly the sharing space, garden and rooms are beautiful, to which we were happily surprised. But to our biggest amazement, Yuki gave us all the information we needed before going to the islands Teshima and Naoshima. And without her help the trip wouldn’t have been the same:)

Luke a luxury apartment. Every detail from the choice of ceramic tableware to the tatami flooring made it a very special experience. But for the clumsy person as everything is quite precious, paper screens and pale flooring. The bath and shower are musical and the Japanese toilet a luxurious experience.

Located in Kurashiki, 300 metres from Shinkeien Garden and 8.4 km from Tanematsuyama Park, Temari Inn Yukikai provides spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Fine craftsmanship. Traditional style home. Pleasant street view. Close to restaurant. Had a charming cafe and lovely gift shop attached. Interesting Fruut Museum. Excellent location. Quiet

Situated within 200 metres of Tanukian Bunko Art Museum and 600 metres of Houkancho Shopping Street, ゲストハウス MEETS 岡山 offers rooms in Okayama. Such a beautiful, cosy and welcoming place to stay! An easy 5-10min walk from Okayama station and a good base to explore the area. Staff were kind and helpful, facilities were good and easy to use, and I loved the more traditional guesthouse feel!
