I was one of the first people to stay here, as today (17/04/24) was opening day. The staff were very welcoming and explained that there was a few works still on going. There was no disruption to my stay at all. I stayed in the 8 people mixed dorm and had a great sleep. The door to the room and lockers are assigned to one person only. There is a door that leads out to a small balcony. The facilities were very clean. Separate male and female. Short work from the beach. Plenty of food and drink places near by. I felt very safe here being a female solo traveller. Thank you very much

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

It is the best hostel I've ever stayed at so far. Super clean an tidy. Maximum privacy at the dormitory with the small curtains and the cave-like bed area. The private cabinets are huge and easy to operate with your key card. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Perfect location. The hostel really exceeded my expectations, super clean and great facilities. There is a lovely courtyard and also 2 roof top terraces which were great. Staff were friendly and all the people I met were friendly too. It felt super safe. The neighbourhood was also very safe, I had to leave around 3.30 in the morning to get a bus and I felt comfortable walking at this time. Great location for the old town and the train to soller is just round the corner. I was sad to leave and will return!

Lovely hostel, nice bunk beds (Stable, dont move when person up/down climbs in, curtains to make it dark, plug-ins/build-in lights, etc). Good common area, a nice kitchen and they even have a filter so guests are safe to drink tap water, which was a nice touch. Strick silence police after certain hours so the partygoers don't bother the early sleepers.

By far one of the best hostels you can book when travelling alone. - comfortable beds (type pods) that are comfy, clean and provide privacy. - Very clean establishment: rooms, common area and bathrooms - great staff: this is what sets this hostel apart ! absolutely nice, caring & fun staff that helps make your experience at this establishment amazing. They organize night outs in the city, night ins (movie nights, dinner). It real feels like you're with family. - As a woman travelling alone, I felt very safe in this hostel.

The hostel is in a great location, in the heart of the city center. The staff is amiable and kind. The beds-cabins are okay with privacy and relative comfort. In general, the El Josemari Youth hostel is a nice and economical option for those who want to explore Palma for a couple of nights.
