My place was awesome! Great location, really easy to jump on ferries to Kerama Islands. Lovely rooms and great price for a private room. Really nice area to do work looking over the harbour. Highly recommend this hostel

The owners are an amazing couple, they are so welcoming and warmly kind and generous They create an amazing atmosphere with their bar and connecting people staying at their guest house Close to centre city and very cheap Despite the small rooms, there is space on the balcony and at the bar to use as common area. Couches there are so comfy 😍 Thank you again for having me Take care Hope to come again 🙏🏻

The library space on the first floor features 2 computers with internet access that can be used for free, and a selection of 3000 Japanese comics (manga) available for reading. Each floor has a luggage storage area and the 2nd to 4th floors are equipped with personal lockers.

All dormitory rooms are air-conditioned. Bathrooms and toilets are shared with other guests.

It is quiet clean. The handsome male staff is a very hardworking person but he has some strict rules. The decor has changed since the last time I stayed and beds are more comfortable now. Beds are not low as it was before. Cute decorative items and useful shelve and hooks are available in the bed.

Guests at Hostel Kumoji-so can sleep in one of the dormitory rooms or enjoy the privacy afforded by the colourful double rooms. Private rooms have coin-operated air conditioning, while those in the dormitories make do with fans. Linens are provided, toothbrushes and shavers can be purchased, while towels and hairdryers can be rented.

The location is great, it’s right where you want to be. The room was clean and the bed was good, the washroom wasn’t my favourite part of the stay, but in terms of what you are paying for - I think overall it’s still great option for a budget traveller.

Just a 3-minute walk from Kokusai Street, Asahi Guest House offers simple Japanese-style accommodation with futon beds. A shared kitchen, lounge area and free-use internet terminal are featured.

A 10-minute walk from Miebashi Monorail Station, the hostel is a 20-minute drive from Shuri Castle and Naha International Airport. Bicycle rental offers a fun and easy way to explore Naha.

It’s simple and I loved it. If you like simple you will love this stay. The price is very good, staff lady is incredibly sweet. Don’t expect a fancy, luxurious stay, but all fundamentals are there. I loved the beautiful, traditional interior and again, the simplicity.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Great location and the room was a lot more spacious than expected! They even had a public bath and sauna for guests to use and a large sitting area by the reception. I liked that even though it's a hostel concept it's very quiet and peaceful which is much needed after walking around the busy Kokusai-dori. And if you need a taxi, there is a phone near reception that connects directly to the taxi company but you would need to speak Japanese. We weren't able to do it successfully but the staff was able to help us so it all worked out!

This is a place where you get exactly what you pay for! Extremely cheap. Super close to Naha's only (?) beach and a supermarket, and shopping streets are in easy reach too. Especially convenient to reach by bus from the airport. If you are a backpacker or budget traveller and must spend a night in Naha before escaping to a nicer island, I would highly recommend!

This might be the best hostel I've been to. It was very spacious, unlike other hostels where it's impossible even to open your suitcase in the room. Lockers, bath rooms and dorm itself were spacious and very clean. Great location not far from airport and Kokusai Dori. Good wifi connection. Overall a very pleasant stay.

One of the best hostels I stayed at in Japan – the dormitory is quiet, there is space to store your luggage and lockers big enough to actually put valuables in there + the location just next to the bus station and a few stops from the airport makes it really convenient. The common space and kitchen are great as well! Highly recommended :)
