Everything, the staff were lovely, the breakfast was amazing, the room was simple but stylish and cosy and the bed comfortable. The shared bathroom was immaculately clean and shower was just right for me. View of the harbour from my room, ear plugs provided in case the road was too noisy, it wasn't for me. Can't fault my stay at all. I will definitely be back.

Had a double room, with large windows, most comfortable mattresses ever and toilet and bathroom shared with only one other room on the floor in the little house. Really good tram, S-Bahn and bus connection all within a few minutes walking distance and you get into the towncentre within minutes. Staff was super friendly and helpful with all my request for an extra blanket. Loved the little bee house!

With free WiFi, this 3-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. It was super nice and clean, more than we expected. I usually hate shared bathrooms. so we were unsure whether we should book or not, but the standard and quality was so good that we didn't mind. Luckily, that there were not many guests, so we never had to wait for a bathroom, cutlery, or a free table. Wifi was great too. We wanted initially to stay only for a night and move somewhere else but after visiting the place, we decided to stay one more night. We didn't even need to change the room in spite of spontaneous booking - which is great.

The area is popular for cycling. Kiel is 16 km from Peanuts Hostel & Meer, while Weissenhäuser Strand is 50 km away. Very nice hostel stay, the hostel is nicely remote. It is very clean and cosy. The owner is very friendly and you can see that she loves her work a lot. Around the hostel are nice spots to relax, there were plenty of tables and chairs. The beach is close by (3km, quick drive but also walkable). Bring some food yourself, the kitchen is well equipped. Coffee and tea was provided. There is a basket with some drinks and snacks to buy if you have forgotten some, bring cash. There is no WiFi, but reception is good and there are loads of games, books, puzzles etcetera to entertain yourself.
