Sitting at night having a drink with the mountain view is priceless. The family room is really spacious and spotless clean. The common kitchen is exceptionally equipped, and they offer free fresh brewed coffee every morning. A collection of updated travel books in the dining room are useful.

Opened in May 2016, Hostel Mt. Fuji - FUKUYA is set in Fujiyoshida, 1.4 km from Fujikyu Highland. Gekkoji Station is 450 metres away and Fujisan Station is 1 km away. The host was amazing, being so nice and caring with us, as well as helping us plan the trip. Great location, very good breakfast and very comfy beds. I strongly recommend.

Located a 5-minute stroll from Shimoyoshida Station, Hostel & Salon Saruya offers a renovated 80-year old Japanese-style accommodation with free WiFi. Highly curated space, traditional setting with modern upgrades. We stayed in the second building- well equipped with heating in the shared spaces and the guestroom had a separate heater and secondary double glazed sliding windows to keep the warmth in. Option to rent bikes for 500yen per day.

A mere 10-minute drive from the Fujikyu Highland amusement park, Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel offers private Japanese-style rooms, free Wi-Fi at the lobby. Coin-operated laundry facilities are on-site. The bed was super comfortable, the owners are very sweet. Close to the station.

Perfect beds and very nice spacious common space. Board games and bar were a great addition to the comfort of my stay! The staff was helpful and kind. The hostel is 5 minutes from the Kawaguchiko lakeshore with majestic views of Mount Fuji. Can't be better!
