Situated conveniently in the Ljubljana City Centre district of Ljubljana, Dežnik is set 850 metres from National Gallery, 700 metres from Slovenian National Drama Theatre of Ljubljana and less than... Deznik was one of my best stay. The property owner is very helpful lady. She explained everything about the property and also about the city. She has provided maps, restaurant recommendations, even free guided tours. She also offered her drinks from the fridge. Hostel is in the center of the city and easy to reach everywhere. City is amazing, like a postcard.

There is a regular and cheap bus service into the city centre although it is only a 30 minute walk. The owner is a fantastic guy who does everything possible to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. There are plenty of places to eat within 5-10 minutes walk. The pods are air conditioned, comfortable and clean. All bedding and a towel are provided and access is through the use of QR codes sent to your mobile in advance. It all works seamlessly.

Located just a 3-minute walk from the centre of Ljubljana, The Fuzzy Log offers minimalist and modern-style accommodation with bright open-plan spaces designed for socializing and co-working. I stood at the camera hostel at the 7th floor, it's very nice, it's a very small room with a small hanger, a foldable table, a little bench and the bed, the whole camera is the width of the bed, and it's very comfortable, very well illuminated and with enough space to settle you up. The staff is the most polite and most friendly I have ever met, they all speak a perfect English, very easy to communicate with. A great experience.

Loved the location, close to the center of everything. Easy walking along the river to all restaurants and shops. Street parking or garage, both close by and reasonably priced. The shower-exceptional pressure and temperature. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen in the room would have been utilized if we had stayed longer. Appreciate the flexibility and consideration of the staff, they were extremely helpful and friendly. Great value, excellent hostel!

Very affordable accommodation with free breakfast and nice staff. There is luggage storage and area where you can stay even if you have already check-out, which is convenient for travelers.

Situated in Kamnik, 24 km from Ljubljana Train Station, Samostan Mekinje features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking and a garden. A monastery experience not to be forgotten. The room is nicely renovated, clean, has a reasonable internet connection. Most of all, it is was unbelievably quiet. I was the only guest there, so it was an unique experience to walk the monastery corridors at night. Also, I had to catch up with some work on my computer while here and what usually takes me 6 hours needed here only 3 hours. So it is likely a high productivity working environment as well :)
